Microplastics and Heavy Metals in Fish

I am interested in your stance on microplastics in fish, as we probably consume more than non-trainees due to protein requirements.
As for heavy metals, some means for harm reduction seem to exist (e.g. Vitamin C, NAC, chelating agents, zinc and more).
Choosing fish lower down the food chain seems to work in case of lead/heavy metals, as these tend to accumulate in top predators. Possibly this might work for microplastics as well...
How do you respect these issues in your diet, if at all?

This definitely avoids the softening agents in plastics.
Unfortunately, plastics find there way into the human body through drinking water and foods, and to some wild extent: 5g of plastic / per week in some regions (~ the amount of a credit card).

Lol that’s funny...idk anyone that’s suffered from heavy metals but maybe it’s an unknown or underlying cause of something...who knows...but good news is I did save a ton of money by switching my car insurance to Geico...if that makes any difference
