Just got off the phone trying to get life insurance. Do the test for a hormone panel?
Just wondering to see if I need to stop cruising and come back to TRT levels.

Anything over approx. $50,000 they will send someone to take blood and blood pressure. Anything out of the normal range (not hormones) such as triglycerides, liver enzymes, cholesterol, etc will result in significantly higher premiums. I see you are 31. If you have a wife and kids or plan to have kids, my recommendation is to get 30 year term that can maintain their standard of living and cover the kids education just in case. The rate is locked and adding more later when you are older is a lot more expensive.

When I got life insurance I requested my medical info they used to under write my policy. No hormone panel. They looked at lipids, CBC, and for drugs like nicotine and THC. These are cheap tests.

They don't do shit. You'll sign paperwork, they get to see your med records. They'll ask you questions like when you last smoked etc. They send their findings to a Las Vegas bookie to determine your odds for living. Your rate will be based on those odds and your bet (how much you get if you win).
This is not the same as healthcare. Getting sick can easily be much more expensive than dying

AnonIt was years ago when I got life insurance but all they did to me was ask if I smoked and swabbed my mouth to test for cigarettes. In the insurance office they stuck a q-tip in my mouth. I didn't have to do any bloodwork.
