These days people get karma for saying 'lol' so I wouldnt worry about it bro

I'll give you what I believe to be the secret and I'm serious as much as I'd love to joke about this. Its all the things you will see mentioned. But if its important to you then you do what I accidentally stumbled on I think. First off I didn't give 2 shits about karma that's a start. You know those people who could not care less about money and have suitcases full of it ? Then there are those that its all they think about and can't scrape together enough cash for dinner. So there's that but then I think you simply have to be part of the community. If people know you they are more likely going to read your posts. If they read your posts and they are helpful they are likely to rep you . That's sort of where the double edge comes in though, if you give bad advice they are very likely to hit you for thumbs down and that goes for breaking the rules too. Do either or both of those very often and you become a troll and then its not very likley you survive long. So give advice you know about and help in areas that are your strong points as you can. Getting to know the community and being part of it I think is most important. Once you know the community and what it stands for and what it won't tolerate then you start finding your own place in it. Once you do that and have established some credibility and friends karma follows shortly behind. If it is really important to you then I think you also understand its not about popping in once a week for 15 minutes. You have to come to join in and help where you can. Look at guys like zewi or fast48, sure , they are both gay for me and I'll have none of it but I still rep them, hell they can't help wantin some Tread its human fing nature! There may be my next tip, if you have a stick in your ass, pull it out and discard it promptly and have a sense of humor along the way, life is short right? Perfect examples there would be Ed and cleyon. They help quite a bit but have their silly gayness and springy personalities in tow and we love it. Yes, they are a couple and came about the same time but you'll never find a happier couple nor will you find a couple more in love than those 2. They just tease and flirt with one another all day around here and I for one think its adorable. They both asked for acceptance early on and I said look, what you guys do to each others ashles at night is your business so as long as you keep your hands off my anaconda we're all good here. Its just worked out you know. So lastly, you run with the big dogs, you can't bark like a puppy brother. Vike and I are the resident silverbacks (no homo btw) and we pretty much just take what we want and keep the monkeys in line so stay close to us and I think you survive the eroids experience ok.
