I was at the gym a few days ago doing my tricep pulldowns and trying to mind my own business. Mind you this is in the middle of the gym, not off in a corner. I see two guys stop about 10 feet away and shake hands and then not even looking around or trying to be sly they both pull out their backpacks and one starts shoving boxes into the other guys bag. Very obvious some sort of steroid, they looked like Pharmacom boxes. I'm like what the fuck, at least make an attempt to be private about it. This was 15 feet away from the lockerroom.
Is this just me overreacting? I assume many of the people there are taking something, but it still surprised me to see that out in the open

Hahaha my buddy got popped selling a kilo of what he thought was blow to undercover DEA, well the dude who sold it to him was trying to pull a fast one and it was all baking soda. So in the end he got conspiracy but didn’t get actual distribution charges funny how that works
They are smart. Havent got o caught that way. When i was selling, im meeting you out in the open parking lot. Its the guys meeting behind the store looking all scary that the cops go check out. Sit right at McDonald's table and swap. Now 2 men going to the bathroom together looking around attracts the staff attention. Never been caught and made it out to be legit now raising a family and legal job

I train couple different gyms, one gym is a little more hardcore, and I see stuff like this on occasion. Now a days, people are more openly talking about PED's, so not really a big deal anymore. So more are nonchalant about doing transactions like this in some gyms. Back in my early years when there was no internet to order PED's, you had to hookup with some local dealer/source or biggest dude in the gym, so imagine what type of weird steroid transactions was being made. This would be an interesting topic though, " how did you use to get your steroid locally? ". Luckily for me, back then I had good sources for pharma supps.

I miss the one gym I used to go that was just like a dungeon wasn’t very cleanly but all atlas equipment all the weird bars for various occasions 2 stair masters 2 tread mills but 6 squat rack 6 flat bench’s and 3 sets of dumbbells up to 250lb and the bathroom smelt musty the shower prob never worked but I swear anytime you went in the locker room there was a dude pinning.

Dude that sounds like my heaven. I live in a small town and the only gym in town is more geared towards soccer moms. There’s 4 squat racks at least but dumb bells only go to 100. But I can count on 1 hand how many people regularly squat bench and deadlift. Instead the dudes max out the cable machines and drop them and break them.

It was man It pushed me so much I was the best shape of my life going there. Still mad I didn’t buy any of the equipment when he closed he was practically giving it away but I was living in an apartment so wasn’t gonna pay storage on it lol
Yeah, not surprised to see this at all. Some of the older smaller gyms, gym owners would be selling gear, so just go up to front desk, talk to gym owner you need some " shit ", go to rest room, and pin on the spot.
First time I ever bought gear was from a massive guy at the gym many moons ago. I legit never even thought about them being illegal. I was overly casual while the gym bro was all shady about it. Clearly he had a right to be it just never dawned on me that what we were doing was illegal. I just wanted to be big like all you monsters.

I was going to say the guy handing over the boxes was wearing his thin blue line shirt and looked like a cop. Late 50's, grey crew cut, slight belly. Looked like a detective.

Where I live the local detectives (town of 400 people-closest "city" is 4k people) are all on gear as well. However, if they know you and you get pulled over, they escort you home even if drunk. I live in a different part of the country.

We dont have cops, we have sheriffs. The LE is essentially voted in. They have a small force, howevr, one of the priorities of the elected Sheriff is child p*rn. He has a dedicated task force for that. I LOVE IT! Leave the dudes alone who are pinning gear and smoking weed, and go after the true criminals.
