I have a little saying I frequently use in my life that I thought I would share in case you have never heard it. It actually helps me focus on occassion and while I began using it for my lifting, I found I got addicted to it and started using it to confront other obstacles in my world as well.
We tend to want to put things off or avoid this or that and this philosophy rather than just a phrase has really helped me. It began when I heard it and related it to those days you need a real big lift knwoing you have dropped off a bit and I would get to the gym and just not feel like the hard push you know? Once I employed this little gem its like I almost wanted it to be tougher knowing I am moving things too big to move for my energy today. Its as though if it does not push my limits I don't like it. Now its a good goal for virtually anything I need to do but really want to put off and rather than try to avoid it I instead set my mind to confront it and do it now.
So when you walk into the gym today and look at all that work, put this in your head and tell me if it helps if you have never done so before ..."WALK THROUGH THIS SHIT, NOT AROUND IT"
Its all in our heads and anything we can say or do to increase our strength mentally, spiritually or physically is welcome. Feel free to share yours if you like, always looking for tools.

STAY STRAIGHT!.. cause it takes alot less time to get somewhere is you stay a striaght line with it instead of walking around and dodging all the shit you NEED to do.. you want to get results or be a champion then stay straight and do what needs to be done. you will end up there alot faster!.. each day you fucking puss out the further you fall behind

"IF IT'S WORTH DOING...THEN OWN THAT BITCH!" I say this to the new guys in my gym when they complain about the lifting regimen. I also like yours I will have to quote ya on it sometime. When they ask who said it I will just say "A big guru named Tread."

This is great advice, but if you are a masochistic mofo like me and simply love the pain and burn, you'll bust yourself automatically.
