going for the Olympics
ad
I was looking at the snatch and the clean & jerk from the Olympics 2012. i was thinking that i could actually be able to keep up with alot of the competition in a couple of years, maybe hit it up in 2016. i was wondering if any one knows how do u exactly go to the Olympics, like how do they find out about u? also Am i wasting my time, due to the steroid regulations and tests, or do i have a chance against beating the tests? sorry if the question seems dumb.

Start competing in AAU sanction events this is one gateway to get noticed by the IOC. Or the pan am games is another. But I know guys from the US Judo & Wrestling Team, and believe me the testing is not easy to pass in fact I would say close to impossible with the new regulations. Such as random spot testing.
RustyhookerMy cousin went to the olympics in powerlifting while in the navy. Ate n trained all day with no worries. I'm sure there's many tricks for passing the tests. Go for it! Research IOC website to find out when qualifying comps occur. Jackedhippy and others are powerlifters
