Getting too big to sleep.
so the last few weeks i have been waking up with pain/soreness in my upper back/neck area. i thought for a little while it was pulled muscles as i really started ramping up my back work.
i was talking to a buddy of mine who uses gear and just happened to bitch about my neck/shoulder area and he said it is from getting too big too fast for my body to get used to it. i am at the end of week 8 and up 22 lbs. upon reflection, some of my best sleep has been when i passed out on the floor in the living room one night flat on my back. i generally sleep on my side.
anyone else get all jacked up if they sleep on there side? i have never been over 200lbs before and i am 209. it makes since that maybe my spine isn't aligning correctly and/or the weight of my body is putting pressure on my shoulder area causeing my should/upper back to hurt.

MEMORY FOAM lots of it
AnonI have the same problem with my right side upper back and shoulder... usually goes away when I am off cycle.
yes it has happened to me, but it was my lower back, not really from sleeping just the everyday grind and the extra 15 pounds of upper body growth. This is pretty common and talked about all the time, after some time it should go away
man i hope it goes away... shoulder is killin me...
I have to sleep on my belly or back. I used to sleep on my side but it hurts my neck and shoulders. Belly feels real nice just spread out like making a snow angel
Question.. when is the last time you replaced your mattress and box-springs? You mention the best sleep being on the living room floor. Generally indicates that you are not getting the support you need from the mattress and box-springs. One thing you can try is rotating both the springs and mattress 180 degrees. This will put the bulk of your body weight in a complete different area. See if that helps. (Personally I rotate mine every 1 1/2 months, but at 6'5 and 260 I crush the mattress pretty quick if I dont).
When I'm on tren my muscles get so hard that its uncomfortoble to lay on my side and sleep.
Right at end of last cycle I slept too long on one side and pinched a nerve so bad in neck/shoulder area had to see orthopedist and get meds and take a week and a half of training off. I went from from around 208 to 232 but lost BF so you may have something there with the extra bodyweight theory
Nothing like that, but since my arms are bigger I lose circulation when I sleep with them bend.
