Getting alot of negativity from being "swole"
ad
Seems majority opinion of buff people is to assume they use steroids, meat head, etc. Just seems horrible :(
A strong and powerful physique is no longer appreciated these days.

Lmao! Pank's wife will understand and if not well I won't get to cry in her arms anytime soon Lol! I would be more concerned with Goth putting my head between those vices he calls biceps and popping me like a pimple
LOL... haven't you seen Goth pimp me out lately??!!! lol..
Well come to think of it I have! Tell him sold!!! I have learned this for the Arab Princes, tell him I shall supply him with free HGH for life! Yes I know he goes through a kit a day...but a small price to pay FOR YOU :)!!!
I was just traded for a lifetime supply of H??? pharma grade right ? lol..
your american culture has been on mission to destroy manhood for decades. TV shows now present the dad of the family as the dope looser who is too dumb to do anything right, not a leader, provider. Its hip and cool to wear skinny jeans and make up and get your hair permed and your nails done. And giving a kid a hard time is now "bullying" the worlds worst crime apparently. And calling a kid out on being effeminate or wimpy or fruity or something is "hate speech". Don't worry, the mead heads will endure the test of time. Eventually the culture will realize everyone being gender natural and ambi-sexual is insane and will start begging for strong, protector, men of valor and honor and principle. By then America will likely be called by another name...
That's definitely worthy of its own thread. A couple of years back, my doctor was concerned I may have had lymphoma. Turned out I just have reactive lymph nodes. He did a hormone panel and told me my testosterone levels were too high. This was before I ever touched gear. I started reading, and came across some studies stating that testosterone levels of the average male have dropped 20% in the last 2 generations. They were predicting a consistent decline. Then I look around and see all the skinny jeans, the bleach blonde tips, the pink shirts and it begins to make sense. The media pushing all of these things definitely doesn't help. I truly believe the modern male is de- masculinating. A part of that I do believe to be chemical. The average male today in the states holds an office or sales position. Mowing the yard is the most physical labor many see. It's a fact just exercise and weight training will elevate test levels. I fully agree with your post. I just wonder if television is the cause or a reflection of what's happening. Either way, I'll keep my calloused hands and pink t shirts belong in the girlfriends dresser.
AnonYou bring up an interesting topic all to its self . Worthy of its own thread.
So does television mimic what exists in culture so people will idetify wioth and watch ?
Or does the example set by television scenarios become the model cultures shape them selves after ?
To a large degree I believe the later. I have often felt those in the public eye have failed at their responsibility to set good examples . Granted we shouldnt be so weak as to allow our selves to change that easy , but the reality is many people do.
You and your post greatly offended my sense of sensitivity! What is wrong with a man being sensitive and crying in a woman's arms? Or being yelled at by his wife and backing down to keep her happy at all cost even if she is miserably wrong? And not supporting a male child who wants to be effeminate and get in touch with more of his nurturing nature. I happen to think that society has evolved to a higher place of sensitivity! You sir are a brute, harsh and a tyrant!
Oh and another thing I am just messing around...I actually couldn't agree more with you! Accept for the fact that I actually believe that the tv and movies follow the reality of what the majority of men have already become. If tv and movies did it then the man was a weak ass punk to begin with and just needed it for validation. With the exception of a Fatherless home and then sons being directly raised by the tv with no strong male guidance. And also because of enabling mothers who try to get their children to love them by nullifying discipline and usually because of the false guilt they carry for the kids not having a father.
I don't think bodybuilding or juicing makes a honorable and noble man either as I am guessing neither do you. There are plenty that are insecure douche bags on that end as well. And when a man's is insecure it is because he wants others to validate him whether deserving or not rather than earning it through his own merits. I will tell you if one day the majority really want the men of valor I will be both surprised and elated!
It's the feminization of America, it makes me absolutely sick. We have become a nation of under achievers that encourage mediocrity and not straying from the herd. It's pitiful that people willing accept this. There are a few left who go against the grain but unfortunately we're way out numbered. I will never succumb to the persuasions of the general populous. The liberal left wing has brain washed America into a nation of over sensitive, under achieving, excuse making, talk everything out; pussies. Would love to see the tides change.
RustyhookerYup! ^^^^^^^^
When I was in my 20's I could not understand how other men can just walk the earth with blinders following . I broke against their ways and walked my own path. It worked out for me but that road is a perilous one for those who slip on the way. If there is no risk I have found there will likely be no reward...
I new I always liked you from the beginning that says it all
AnonHi 5s that shit^^^^
I'm 100% with you! could not have said it better myself!
AnonYou are hanging around the wrong people bro, chics LOVE buff guys and they dont give a shit if you do roids or not. My Endo told me that Testosterone would attract women and I'll be damn if he wasn't right. That's all you care about anyway is the chics right?
Sexykirby1Seems that way but majority of the girls I see in california are going out with dudes that look like justin bieber and that's "buff"
Justin bieber??
Oh then they're lesbians and don't even know it yet =D
AnonYou have to add the coolness that beiber doesn't have. Everything will fall in place my brother, hang in there.
WeatherwedMaybe its me - But I dont even consider girls when I think about why I do this sport. Way too much effort to get a girl- this is an obsession- hell its a religious experience for me.
valhallas bestignore the haters..
WeatherwedI love the attention in the gym. In that setting I feel like a guy whos doing well at something everyones there doing. Outside of the gym- Im constantly self conscious about looking meat headish or intimidating.
What people say about you says more about them than you. " Wow that guy looks like a tool" = "Wow- that guys doing great and reminds me of how miserable my life is."
Any woman that says she doesn't care about a good strong body is full of shit.. they're prlly just trying to sound sophisticated and into the "person" not their "body".. when the shirt comes off they completely melt LOL!!
As for when guys say that crap they're usually half your size and have a inferiority complex.. who cares about their opinion.
Buff guys are stereotyped as assholes because a lot buff guys ARE assholes that love to flex their muscles over smaller people.. Don't be that guy and you'll find more people admiring you over time
Weatherwed"Youll need thick skin... Thick skin to ward off the ignorance... the criticism... the doubts... the fear... the clueless questions about why we got into the game and what it takes to stay in..." -Animal Ad
most of them are haters and overweight who say shit about bodybuilders
Lol haters they just cry when you steal their girl's attention.
RustyhookerThis post is like whining because you've got a 12in pecker. Research the pros in bbuilding and you'll find most have upper division college degrees. If you worry bout what people think....don't ever bodybuild. Quit now because you're gonba be scrutinized on every aspect of your body full time.
