From my own experience, I would say that domestic delivery is much better. Let's say, like with domestic USPS delivery, you have 99.9% success delivery, while with good international warehouse you have 99%-99.5%% success delivery. So both of the options work very well, but domestic is better, no doubt here

If you have extra cash and don’t like waiting … domestic

If your wanting more gear for the same price- and you don’t mind waiting… international

Domestic is faster and slightly safer but it’s more expensive.
International poses little risk, seizures sound bad but you won’t be getting in trouble most likely. A letter in the mail telling you they stole your pack, but almost every international source will re ship it (to a different address) for free if you get a letter of seizure.
It’s personal preference.

Domestic is much better if you can, less risk, quicker, but more expensive.

If you have the money and want fast guaranteed delivery go domestic. If you don’t need it right away, are tight on funds or testing the waters go the other route. But there is always a chance customs get involved. Most sources know what they’re doing by now but there is always that chance with the long distance, domestic not so much.
