And it's back on. Or is it
StevebThe Fight is still on in Conor's head but not in real life
https://www.rt.com/sport/340872-dana-white-conor-mcgregor/
Dana is known for holding grudges. He won't forget that Conor pulled out of the biggest UFC event ever.
I wonder if this will end up being a bigger beef than the one he had/has with Ortiz?
StevebHe committed 2 sins the UFC does not forgive. He became bigger that Dana White and he cost the UFC a lot of money.
The only thing I notice about this entire thing is he dont want to do the press conference in stockton, because hes afraid of the stockton slap mothafuckas! 209!!!!
TronRight? He wasn't afraid to talk shit in Brazil...but STOCKTON?? .....NAH, FUCK THAT! LOL
you wont be seeing youtube videos of him running around stockton talking about I own this town in his bentley...lol
Who saw nates responce to connor question and answer time..he got fkn beat..haha such a stoner kent..
StevebEvery time someone pulls out of a fight with Conor because of an injury or whatever he calls them a bitch and makes fun of them. No one makes fun of fighters more than Conor for pulling out of fights. He says they're faking an injury and making excuses not to fight him. Now he does the same thing. He claims doing all the promotion will affect his training so he's dropping out of the Diaz fight but is now going to fight the winner of Edgar and Aldo at 145lbs. He will still have to do the same amount of promoting with that fight but he's gonna take it anyway. He knows he can't beat Diaz so he pulled out. He's a hypocrite who started believing his own BS.
TronYep...and correct me if I'm wrong...but wasn't Conor bragging about how he will fight any man at any time? I believe there is an interview with him talking about getting an opponent switched on him at the last moment and he said his training is the same for every opponent..he doesn't train for the fighters style that he is about to face...he just trains and is ALWAYS ready for any opponent.....I guess Nate Diaz is excluded from those opponents. Really is funny how he is using the "I don't get paid to promote" excuse for this fight because he got to where he is by promoting himself as well as the fights..Nate Diaz in 10 days notice decisively beat McGregor with McGregor having a full camp along with the benefits of not having to cut weight..McGregor is a smart man..he knows damn well that Nate Diaz with a full camp is a horrible match up for him...he's sucking this fight with the hopes Diaz will retire it lose interest which Diaz has implied already..he will come back..fight Aldo or Edgar..probably win because of his distinct size advantage over that division..and he SHOULD. I don't blame him..just stop saying you are the best in ALL divisions...stay there and keep killing midgets..seriously.
Makes me laugh when people call this guy a bitch lol I doubt that would happen in person. Honestly the guy did his thing hate him or love him. He lost the fight by a submission, who's to say if that didn't happen he wouldn't have knocked him out? No one can. The guy didn't get mopped up either they both looked fucked up after that fight. I highly doubt this guy will walk away from fighting forever, that's just all around dumb. It's all part of the show in my opinion getting the attention and stealing spotlight keeping people on the edge of their seats waiting and watching. Honestly it takes brass balls to jump up a division. An i give him that. You win some and lose some in the end 99.9 lose at least 1 so never mind their ton of wins a 1 or a few losses makes them a chump? No.
I would give him all that BUUUUUT, well he ran his mouth. keep in mind Nate went up a weight class too
I think the name calling is all relative. Among the average man he is a champion and a fricken stud. Even among the good fighters he is a champion and a fricken stud, however when you put him on a Pedistal with the best of the best , guys like Ali, Tyson, Liddell, Couture, Gracie, Hughes, St. Pierre, Jones, etc. you get a man who may match the talent but just can't match the heart. When a man's heart can't keep up with his mouth...well you get the average joe calling him a bitch.
Just comes with the territory.
I agree he has some time to put in and some obstacles to over come before he's put in that bracket with the greats.

I am just trying to do my job and fight here.
I am paid to fight. I am not yet paid to promote.
I have become lost in the game of promotion and forgot about the art of fighting.
There comes a time when you need to stop handing out flyers and get back to the damn shop.
50 world tours, 200 press conferences, 1 million interviews, 2 million photo shoots, and at the end of it all I'm left looking down the barrel of a lens, staring defeat in the face, thinking of nothing but my incorrect fight preparation. And the many distractions that led to this.
Nothing else was going through my mind.
It is time to go back and live the life that got me this life.
Sitting in a car on the way to some dump in Conneticut or somewhere, to speak to Tim and Suzie on the nobody gives a fuck morning show did not get me this life.
Talking to some lady that deep down doesn't give a fuck about what I'm doing, but just wants some sound bites so she can maybe get her little tight ass a nice raise, and I'm cool with that too, I've been giving you all raises. But I need to focus on me now.
I'm coming for my revenge here.
I flew an entire team to Portugal and to Iceland to make my adjustments in preparation and fix my errors I made with the weight and the cardio prep.
With the right adjustments and the right focus, I will finish what I started in that last fight.
I will not do this if I am back on the road handing out flyers again.
I will always play the game and play it better than anybody, but just for this one, where I am coming off a loss, I asked for some leeway where I can just train and focus. I did not shut down all media requests. I simply wanted a slight adjustment.
But it was denied.
There had been 10 million dollars allocated for the promotion of this event is what they told me.
So as a gesture of good will, I went and not only saved that 10 million dollars in promotion money, I then went and tripled it for them.
And all with one tweet.
Keep that 10 mill to promote the other bums that need it. My shows are good.
I must isolate myself now.
I am facing a taller, longer and heavier man. I need to prepare correctly this time.
I can not dance for you this time.
It is time for the other monkeys to dance. I've danced us all the way here.
Nate's little mush head looks good up on that stage these days. Stuff him in front of the camera for it.
He came in with no shit to do that last one. I'd already done press conferences, interviews and shot the ads before RDA pulled out.
Maybe I'll hit Cabo this time and skull some shots pre-fight with no obligation.
I'm doing what I need for me now.
It is time to be selfish with my training again. It is the only way.
I feel the $400million I have generated for the company in my last three events, all inside 8 months, is enough to get me this slight leeway.
I am still ready to go for UFC 200.
I will offer, like I already did, to fly to New York for the big press conference that was scheduled, and then I will go back into training. With no distractions.
If this is not enough or they feel I have not deserved to sit this promotion run out this one time, well then I don't know what to say.
For the record also -
For USADA and for the UFC and my contract stipulations -
I AM NOT RETIRED.
TronHere's a shorter version from what I gather there..
"I just got beat when I thought I was unbeatable..this affected my physquie to the point I had to re-analyze my whole situation and how I lost that fight...time to go back to the drawing board but with modifications brought in from working with 2 teams of specialist..And my only focus will be training for this fight..I'm not paid to promote..YET. I am paid to fight and i know i need to win this fight BADLY.."
So basically Mcgregor is going into Rocky 4 mode for this fight...training and isolating.
well the funny part is a while back he was saying all these guys dont trust their training, they lose a fight and try to bring in all these other guys to train with, trust your skills. BAHAAHAHAH
Now its I cant leave I flew in a whole team of trainers...
StevebDid you notice Conor went from 145 to 170 and he looked even leaner? He gained 25lbs of muscle real quick. And Nate looked soft like a skinny fat.
The diaz's always look pretty close to that, if he had cut all his water weight might of looked more in shape. But truth is nate is a veteran, he knows how many rounds his training and current shape will get him. Thats why he said he needed a slow start so he could make it all 5 rounds.
Conner is NOT going to submit him, and we all know he is NOT going to outwork him, so that leaves KO or TKO and Nate has only lost one fight like that. Conner is up shit creek trying to fight nate.
As far as conner gaining muscle, all these guys have their ways, obviously I give two shits if they juice or not.
I think what he said makes a hell of a lot of sense.
TronMakes a lot of sense..and most importantly its...SMART.
If ya fuk with the mods up in here you get slapped down no matter what you bring to the table:P
Only thing connors pulling is big pay days..gonna be another aldo affair x10
Connor retired bc his friend was fighting and the other guy died in the cage during a fight. Connor was his in his corner. I guess it devastated him and really affected him. Happened not long ago.

Pussy excuse. Did Dale Jr. Pull out when his dad (Rip # 3) died racing? Hell no he didn't. He just got bigger and badder. Shake and Bake baby!

When we go in the ring we know we're going to get hit. We know we're not the ballet people. But if you go in there and have doubt in your mind that you're afraid to get hit, forget it.

StevebKostya was an interesting fighter
Kostya reminds me of the uk fighter prince nasseem..only little less wank.
Hamed was class. That was until he decided to leave the B Ingle camp and start preaching religion thinking he was some kind of prophet. I went to a couple of his fights, good shows.
Ive watched pretty all you can via youtube..that cocky throw back then lob to the opponents head knocking them usually out..great stuff..he did well, was a big show he put..magik carpet rides to ring wtf haha..was in with the royals at a time..toasted champ at peak then smashed his ride fkn some people up if i recall..downfall..then yeah finished...
Count yourself lucky seeing that live..at his peak was it-the big show?
Or earlier on..guy was supa quik..almost enhanced quik or un natural..great to watch..
The best I saw live of him was when he best Daniel Alicea, who I believe was an amateur champ and predicted to become real special. Look it up if you haven't seen it.
That angled snap back hook shot..brutal..guys wide on the shoulders heaps of torque for his stature..
Good boxing -entertaining and good knockout shots constantly on the go!
Highlight reel..

That has always been my favorite Tyson quote.
Fact
That was the best Tyson quote IMO. He not only said it but lived it
StevebConnor's ego died in his last fight. That is why he's retiring.
TronOk, so Conor wasn't just at the event..it was his friend that got killed and he was in his corner..that makes a little more sense to me..If I were a fighter and witnessed my friend die in a match Id probably think retirement as well...Conor is still very marketable and he could get some investors involved and start his own organization where he would be the "Dana White"..you know it would be super entertaining. I really hope his desicion isn't final on retirement though..love him or hate him the UFC needs fighters like that....in all honesty though I dont think things would of went any differently though..ESPECIALLY with Diaz having a full camp..may have been an even more decisive finish for Diaz this time...or maybe Conor drops Nate..who knows?? Not us ...we will never know now apparently..2016 has been a strange year for the UFC so far..
Dudes a bitch ....he got beat down now he runs away
TronI can't call Conor a "Bitch" by any means considering his accomplishments but I think what happened was Nate "Stockton slapped" the reality into Conors dome that he may possibly NOT..be the best fighter of any weight division and Is NOT invincible...interesting to find out if he really stays retired..Should of stayed in the little guy weight division and kept knocking out midgets..
He's a smart guy, he knows that if you put him against Diaz after a full camp and you retire McGregor.
acmilan1307Clearly you did not watch the fight lol. Conner kicked his ass. If Conner did not try to take him down he would have won
Just to play devil's advocate I kinda get where you might be coming from because he did look somewhat in command at first. But then he started to realize whatever he threw at Diaz wasn't doing shit and he started swinging for the fences and just wore himself out. First smack to the face and it was all downhill from there, he was running for his life.
But hey, if you had the cash this dude's already got and just watched your boy die, you might consider steppin down too
