Competitive Body Builders with large scars

ad

Are there any competitive bodybuilders out there WINNING with large scars? I'm nowhere near stage ready but I was checking myself out in my mirror, wearing my banana hammock. I am beach ready and thought it would be a great conversation starter on the beach. I had surgery back in February so now I have a scar from my hip to my knee almost. It's pretty wide at the top where the hip bends. Like I said. I'm nowhere near stage ready and probly wouldn't be for some time. I was just wondering if my scar would limit me competitively if I decided I ever wanted to compete far into my future.

Bro there are people on wheel chairs competing, a simple leg scar? Meh, kill that shit and get your scar ass on that stage, where you diserve to be. ; p

I had no clue. I'm nowhere near stage ready. Shit, I put on 20 pounds since the surgery. I've only been back in the gym for just about a month. Diet went to hell since I couldn't prepare my own food. I'm starting to get back on track now that I'm not eating whatever was prepared for me

I'm still on crutches also. It's funny as hell watching myself hobble around the gym then eat iron.

Unless you have big chunks of meat missing i see no problems bro... masking products are good these days, with heavy stage tan on top of that even the worst scars are nigh invisible.

No chunks missing. Thank goodness. I was blessed with decent legs. Even when I was an overweight couch potato as a kid, I had better lookng calves than anybody I knew going to the gym. When I started taking the gym serious 10 years ago, my legs went BOOM!!! I have to remember to take it lite on the legs to maintain proportion. For now I'm very limited on leg work, so my upper body is getting a beating and my legs still look decent. Thanks for the insight. Maybe in a couple years I'll hit the stage for fun.

Hahahah... the "fun" becomes addictive bro, i should have quit years ago but i cant its like a drug that takes me to another world Smile

That's how I felt when I started getting serious
About the gym. At first it was just too get healthier, then one day I saw myself in the mirror and didn't recognize my body. That's when the gym turned into an addiction. Better high than any drug I'd ever done.

you may be at a disadvantage in some judges eyes, although they would never tell you were. but USE IT, train harder then them and eat better then them and it will not hinder you if you do not allow it to

More motivation. Train insane, or remain the same, right?. I love this site. No homo, or homo.
