No buddy, it often comes with mint flavouring in it if anything. I've never made it from base as such, but have often bought it in tins. Apart from Vegemite we don't tend to get that much Australian food imported here. Marmite (our version) Rocks!!!

For the first time ever the other week I bought a jar of Pickled Eggs LMAO Figured I would like them as I like vinegar and eggs, Jesus No Way - I really tried hard to eat 2 pickled eggs but just couldn't do it. The burning of the vinegar in the egg took my mouth to pieces and the rest got thrown away! Lol
Fish and chips is great, it’s very very common and popular in my area. Also my hometown it’s big too. Im visit my mother in the next couple weeks and there’s a spot near here that’s got great seafood and I also got fish and chips as a kid there, I’ll have to grab some when I visit. But no soggy mushed pea paste
To be fair, when I get them these days I never get mushy peas anymore as I realise there is zero nutritional content in them - they are just there to be part of the original meal. I ALWAYS get however curry sauce put on the fish and a bit of the chips - the Chinese Curry sauce is even better but only select places offer that. A lot of the chip shops also offer chocolate Mars Bars cooked in the used fish batter too!! LMAO
I just like plain old fried fish with tartar sauce and nothing else on it, but I’ve never tried curry anything so idk. Malt vinegar can be good on the fries but I can’t imagine anything else on the fish. What kind of fish do you guys use? Here it’s usually haddock or cod
