I recently did an ancestry dna test for kicks and the preliminary results are in. 3.1 % Neanderthal! (caveman) LOL..... Guess that's why I just can't lay off a big smooth fat ass!. LOL.......

Having the Neanderthal genetics is a plus, they were more athletic than Cro-Magons. They had more muscle mass around their bodies that made them stronger and faster. I read that their brain cavity was even larger than the average Cro-Magnon skull, but for some reason most modern scientists believe their lack of metal abilities led to their extinction. How is their DNA carried in modern man and they are extinct? I think they just evolved by turning into modern man and made the best out of their circumstances, but unless you were actually their you can only guess what happened. All we know is that they mated with Cro-Magnons, giving you the people we see today.
actually there is evidence that neanderthal were using tools and weapons long before cro-magnon and some pretty strong evidence that they were smarter. they also buried their dead before cro-magnon. so science has shifted greatly that supports that neandthal was smarter and many of the things we thought cro-magons did were actually most likely learned from contact with cro-magnon.
have you read about the denisovan gene ? this is another amazing one.
I do remember seeing something on TV about a new human ancestor being discovered, that was different from Cro-Magnons and Neanderthals, that existed around the same time.
Read a few things where they believe our ancestors actually ate neanderthals like cattle by looking at remains

ppl of european and asian decent carry the genome mostly. i know my DNA links back too...i guess my ancestors liked screwing Neanderthal men maybe thats why i like my men all big and muscly and strong.....;-)

i wanted to do one of these too. thats pretty awesome, only a small portion of the population has the caveman genes. but only those of european decent if i remember correctly.
