+ 1 wife stuck at 228lbs. for the last 9 weeks! She upset!
ad
She just turned 40, had three kids, working with trainer 1hr. Per week and going to gym 5 days a week out of 7. She about 5.8. Tall. Talked to her about var. 10mg & t3, concerned won't work b/c hcg did nothing. I need to get her labs done looking at hormone panel for females by labsmd. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I know my trt has helped me but need to get her metabolism going and build muscle on her. She is curvy sey to me and just want to help her with figure. She tell me how frustrated she is working out hard and documenting what she eats. Hope I did not break a rule her, concerned husband.

Pumpingthtketo diet
A nice bulking cycle might be the ticket here. Bulk her up so she can shred.
Wtf?
Lmao can't be serious
get her off the scale .. how do her clothes fit?? also make changes to her diet and training its obvious that her body has adjusted to what she is doing and she needs to change it.. if you put her on var as concerned as she is about her weight she will HATE you... it is going to add muscle as it is meant for people with muscle wasting disease.. her waist will get thicker and her clothes will be tighter... t3 is a bandaid and if she doesn't mind feeling the shakes etc.. when she stops the weight will come back .... make the changes keep her body guessing
Thank you so much for info. Thought var would add muscle and burn fat. Clothes were getting loose. People said she looked like she was losing the weight.
The issue becomes that she will add muscle much faster than she will burn the fat... the fat loss effects aren't really noticeable until a person gets down below ten percent body fat .. she'll put on size faster than she shrinks. keep her off the scale and checking clothing fit as well as how she looks in the mirror.. as painful as before pics are it is helpful to have them so any future pics will certainly tell the story as to progress made.
Thank you for this info, wife and I did cardio last night, she really enjoyed how I pushed her a little. I really value your information, yes more muscle will come on faster than fat burning off. I tend to struggle with this as well, working on doing more cardio with wife per this past i started. Thanks again.
I would listen to this Grrl
Best advise I have heard in a long time +1
Need to be sure her diet is on point. Eat clean. She will need cardio added with training for now. Maybe wake n run. Also I wouldnt do var until body fat is lower.
She needs cardio, lots of it. Most gyms have group classes, that's how I lost the baby weight 4 times, no gear just group classes 5 days a week.
Too many people find this website and think oh, steroids that's what I need. Nope. 9 weeks is not a plateau, it might seem like it but she just needs to stick it out. Change up her cardio routine, I promise those classes will kill her. I lost 50 pounds in 4 months 4 times, if I can do it so can she
Good luck
Thanks all the very best
Good advice +1
RIght there^^^
This shit takes time no matter who you are. Up your cardio incrementally over time and things will pick up. Don't go full blast all at once, you want to change things in pieces over time. If you go full hambone from the start, then things slow down... Then what? You have no more variables. Post up her diet, fix that first, then cardio, then training, then you change those variables progressively. I can clarify if needed with examples.
Yep, that's why those group classes are killer. I went daily at 4pm they had kick boxing one day, step the next, zumba the next ect. It's the best cardio ever. And I was FAT, seriously fucking fat after ever kid lol Group classes, every time.
She added me to her daily log so i can see what she is eating. Eat clean and more cardio. Kool thanks again. Very helpful and supportive.
Diet is important, but IMO at this point it's not nearly as important as people think. These two pictures of me were taken after baby number 2. I new nothing back then about nutrition. I was careful but still ate normal, it was really all the cardio that did it. I didn't even lift back then. This was a 12 month transformation, I lost 60ish pounds in the first 5 months. The hardest part was going to the gym. Getting there is half the battle. I know what it's like to feel fat, I got fat every time I got pregnant even when I tried not too. Your wife needs time and support, you're on the right track.
Show her this, if I can do it so can she seriously I'm not special.

AnonThat's impressive. Nothing but respect for you- not only because of your results due to hard work, but the way you conduct yourself on here- always supportive, optimistic and willing to help.
No homo ( bahahahah I had to say it!!)
Lol no homo good one thanks lady! This is a good community I try to help when I can
That awesome, you look great. I was telling her about you and will show her these post later this evening. I also mentioned it is going to take time, due to weight did not come on overnight. Looking at doing cardio with her this evening. All the very best and thanks again.
Thanks your wife will get the weight off. Just keep it simple so it no overwhelming small changes add up fast. One group class a week and she's going to start seeing results. Good luck
I don't see any rules broken really. But don't go jumping into drugs right off the bat. Especially not t3. Fuck that. Post her diet and we'll go from there. Diet is #1. Myself and others will be happy to pick apart her diet and fill the gaps. Getting her labs is a good step. But you can't out train or out drug a shit diet. So lets see what she eats bro.
Thanks my friend
cardio morning and night with serious intents. DIet low in carbs
