Var cycle for lifting meet/bodybuilding

ad

I am starting my 7th week on my var cycle. I have a powerlifting meet at the end of July, and then go into my cut cycle for a bodybuilding contest. I don't want to get off var before my lifting meet, but I also want to be on var or something for my cut. My show date is In November. I am just curious what I should do as far as gear goes. I know my body needs a break from it, but I'm curious how long exactly. After my show I'm good to go off of it for however long I need to. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

That actually helps. I will be getting labs ran after my 8th week on. I would prefer not to damage my liver so will probably stop after week 8. And check labs again after a month and see where to go from there.

Plus var kicks in fast. A break will be healthy and you can still reap the benefits. Just don't run it all the way through man. You can easily end up LOSING strength by staying on. Yes var is mild but why push it and risk fucking yourself over in multiple ways? That's silly.

Like birdbear stated below me, the only way to tell is through bloods. Some guys might only need 4 weeks for there liver to recover after an oral run and some guys might still be showing high liver values 8-12 weeks after. Were all different so blood work is the only way to tell.

So if your going into your 7th week and have a meet at the end of July that will put you around 13 weeks on var. Which IMO is way to long. So my advice if you really want to use it is to come off now, so you have a chance at recovering yor liver function and be able to go back on say two weeks before. I'm on week one of my first var course so I can't really tell you with any certainty that 2 weeks is enough for it to kick in fully again and get your stregnth to where you want it to be. I feel it slightly so far but I haven't experienced the strength or pumps everyone talks about just yet. Or the even better option would be to just finish your 7th and 8th week and stop it. And then give yourself as much time as possible like 8 weeks and then go back onto it for your contest prep. Good luck.

Only bloods will tell. Long run isn't wise and you seem like you're kinda fishing for a cosigner to do what you want? Perhaps? Any way, read up.
