+ 1 Knots on front delt after chest workout
Worked chest and biceps with hubby yesterday and I do tend to lift heavier when we work out together. At the end of the workout I noticed a goose-egg type of lump on my upper front delt and another one just a little lower. I didn't have any event that I noticed any type of injury during the workout. I have full range of movement so I don't think I did anything to the upper bicep tendon. It is very tender to touch and I have pain when I raise my arm up in the air. I have been taking Test Prop and it is not like PIP which tends to be a more broad swelling. This is a very hard knot. Upon my own google, self-diagnosing research, I think it sounds like a myofascial trigger point. I have been treating with pressure, stretching, iburpofen and heat to try and get the muscle to release.
My husband has been bodybuilding for over 20 years and never seen anything like this. Has anyone here had this happen or have any knowledge of someone else that has? It is just very strange to happen so quickly without any obvious injury while lifting. In fact, I felt very strong yesterday while working out.
Information or guidance is much appreciated!!

Hi , i recently had big problem with shoulder n chest lift movements i was tearing or pulling it ( i think pec minor n and front delt ) any ways i never thought it would go away but last week i had a thai massage done which is deep tissue mixed in with kiropractise ( how ever you spell it ) and it did wonders she worked the area very well it was real painful , her hands n elbows wernt doing the job so used feet , bodyweight and applied pressure lol but this week training it felt amazing no rips , tears or pain
so far so happy , its 100% worth looking in to!
Thanks! That does sound painful; but I could see where it would definitely be beneficial. I actually work with someone who knows a good Thai massage therapist. I'll get the info from him and check it out.
No Problem ! I got mine at 20 GBP an hour so i was more than happy too go! i can see why alot of people dont if over priced!
