+ 6 Dieting- How I dropped 30 pounds
So I figured I'd post up my recipe for success on losing 30 pounds and dropping to about 7% body fat. I've always been a thick girl ever since high school. It did me well. I played field hockey, through shock out and discus I high school and I are basically however I wanted to and loved life.
As I got older I met my husband in college and he was into body building. It was funny he says to me after a short month of dating "hey honey wanna come to he gym with me". I wasn't sure how to read that but I was like sure why not. I started training with him and a few years later I got into powerlifting. I did that for a couple years and competes in several competitions and collected some trophies. It was a good time. Now that I'm in my 30's I'm really getting into the figure and physique aspect of the hobby now. So I figured time to really diet down and see what I got. As I started this past winter it was nothing serious until I picked my first show date which is at the end of summer. So I really had to turn up the heat and go into prep mode. My diet is changing now as I'm in my final weeks of prep but to get me going and progressing great I followed the following diet that brought from the low 170's when I started to a recent weigh in of 134 :-). Right now my coach says I'm ready for the stage. Wahoo!! So now I'm just trying to maintain my current condition until it's time to shine.
My diet plan:
I looked to keep my carbs between 150-200g a day up until recently when I toned it down further to whittle away and get some more detail in.
