Saying whats up
Hey Folks, just stopping by to introduce myself. I am an ex welterweight amateur Boxer. When I competed I was 149 post competition I was around 160 lbs. Started lifting in 2003, always to stay lean and put in about 12 lbs from 2003-2013. In 2013 I began working as a boxing coach/strength and conditioning coach and all of my workouts consisted of endurance training. Last my girl and I had my first son and Ive been working so much that my training regiment fell apart. I've been working so much and caring for my family that I haven't been pushing weights like il before. The weeks I was able to go I'd go about 2-3 days a week.
I'm now running my own business and have all control over my schedule so I'm back on the wagon. For the last three weeks I've been working out 5 days a week, pushing weights in the morning and boxing 3 times a week at night. I'm starting off slow to ease back into my routine. My goal is now to gain size and strength rather than just endurance. I'm currently 190 but I know I'm pretty fat. I'd like to be at 190 solid at about 8% BF so I know I have my work cut out for me. I've been researching for about 2 months and I'm on here to learn more from the seasoned vets.
