Ready to Jump... a bit fearful
If I can follow a path correctly, then there should be no question why I am here. I am ready to go hard in the gym with no holds barred. I've never supplemented with anything bigger than creatine, but I'm starting back at the gym on Monday after eight years growing fat cells like they are in style. My only hold is that my money is so tight that this first order is big for me and for my wife. She's riding with me, but at a lesser level and I just want this first order to be successful.
So, how about a few do and don't tips before I go get a Western Union slip. Who would have believed that my scariest bit of this all would be going to the Post Office, or is that even a cool place to get the order? Questions like that.
Either way, I'm going for it. I'm forty-five and I don't feel like going it slow. I want to be big by summer.
EDIT: Just edited out some questions, funny funny haha to read it today. I really look forward to the rear view mirror in another 12-weeks!

shirlsguyWell, six months into this program, was checking out new members and thought to re-read what I felt when coming in. Intimidated... that is what I felt. My wife and I chuckle at the 'hype' about AAS and the fears/stygmas that are attached.
I've had my fair share of fool's moves... mostly the alcohol. So.... there is my advice.... get as brave as you can be with the alcohol. i.e. if you can leave drink alone, cycle without fear. If you must have your booze, then maybe wait a bit longer. Diet... don't expect AAS to do all the work.... they make you explode, rip, strong, even hallucinate if you're not careful... but that all depends on diet.
shirlsguyOkay, got over the fear and cycled. I am just going to leave my beginner cycle until I have finished, 'cause I have made a few choices that I would not advocate, though safe ones with proper AI in place and PCT in stock.
I am at three weeks and I laugh because what really drove me to this was my children calling me fat when I know what I can do. Well, they last night bragged about how much weight I have lost on my diet.... that makes me smile big time because I am up 12-pounds. Fun thing about that is that I haven't started pushing 'real' weight yet, just heavy weight that I know I can handle.
GearofWarDepending on what your T levels were when you were tested and from the sound of things, were not super low otherwise you probably wouldn't have had to "beg and holler" for a scrip, will dictate how well you'll do on the Sust. What's your dosing schedule look like? Sust 250 EW? EoW? If its EW, I'd definitely look into some HCG if you value the size of your nuts. Also, depending on how sensitive you are to E2 related sides you may want to look into an AI as well, just in case. My levels were very low(178 total T) when I started my TRT protocol, and I'm only prescribed test-cyp @ 200mg E2W and I've got atrophy from that dose. On the upside of things, I've also realized some decent gains at the gym on such a conservative dose of cyp. So with your T levels being higher than mine, plus being dosed way higher with Sust theoretically you should also be pleasantly surprised in the change in the weight room and bedroom. It won't come easy so train hard and try to maintain a clean diet. Good luck and god bless.
shirlsguyMy results are UK based; serum TSH level is 3.37 mu/L (haven't figured it out yet. I may scan my bloods and post it for comment. Total Serum Testosterone was 12.6 nmol/L.
I don't yet know how this translates to levels that I understand, any help appreciated.
My script it just 250 every three weeks, I am going to follow the instructions and see how I feel. I figure I am getting professional treatment and tests, I should take the time to see just exactly how testosterone injections affect my body.
I'm not getting constant boners after one day, but I lost the night sweats instantaneously and I slept a whole lot better. I finished about 12 household chores that I meant to get done.
Ultimately, I am going to order from one of the sources here and cycle, but I am taking the advice of people with experience and going it slow. I wanted to be big again by spring but the 'old bull and young bull' story comes to mind. I think I'll 'walk' down this hill and get 'em all.
I am going to push my doctor for EoW at the end of this script, but getting a script was pretty difficult going. I have never used the NHS more than once a year and he believed me.
If your just starting out you don't need to be taking gear. I always tell people that are new to lifting that ask about gear to wait 2 to 3 years. You have to get lean and get your body to the absolute max before you start a cycle. The main reason to wait that long is because you have to condition your ligaments and joints so they can handle the rapid increase in strength. If a newb to working out starts a cycle there is a good chance of injury. Eight years of not lifting puts you in that category. Your gear should be in your kitchen and in your fridge. I know this isn't the answer you wanted to hear but be smart about it. Steroids are not a magic fix all pill.
shirlsguyYes, not the answer I would hope, but well given advice, even if I am clearly too hard-headed to take it on board. I must be very honest, I am going to hit hard even against brains, but cautiously. I should also clarify that I am not looking for random contacts but I am actually looking for some input on the leader board from the home page of this site. Some of the reviews seems repetitive; like a content writer is banging about to drive ratings up and then a few disappointed people don't have their orders. I don't yet know how to separate the fact from fiction. There do seem to be some constants too, so I thought maybe a few friend invites and pm's about the leader board would be good.
Again, I truly appreciate someone who cares enough to caution against risk, but truth is, I am going to go hard by February. That gives me eight weeks to get it back and most my returns to the gym have had me back at about 85% of my old totals within that time, and I want my ducks in a row (or gear in the bag) by then. Chance favors the prepared.
AnonX2 buddy, also for your own benefit dont advertise your looking a source as there is plenty out there who would be glad to rob you and be careful of gmail accounts
shirlsguyI must be getting old, I took your advice! I decided to wait out High Doses and actually go to my doctor. I studied all the symptoms to get a script and the more I read, the more it sounded like me. Don't you know... my blood tests came at the lower end of normal for a 45-year old man. I had to beg and holler, but I received a prescription for Sustanon 250. So, I picked it up today with some 1.25 needles and had the wife pin my ass! She's been on depo provera for two decades so no one knows better about pinning the butt than her. I honestly did not even know she had put the needle in. "You have to put it all the way to the hilt" I told her. "I'm just finishing up" she replied. Job done and never even felt it.
So, thanks for the encouragement to take things easy, we will see how it goes. If I shake the night sweats, then my effort was worth it. If I get along better with the children, even better. If I get bigger, then awesome!
