Been on TRT for over 2 years now, 200mg wk. Raised my t levels from low 200 to 500, and with all of the good sides. Recently retired and lost my insurance but was able to lateral to the VA, Vietnam vet with disability . All good except the Dr says that the VA has dropped the TRT. Anyway, not willing to give up the positive effects and that brought me here. Amazing and overwhelming the information here, and i've only just started learning. Stats? 66yr, 5'9", 195, bf too high at 28%. Work harder now that I'm retired than ever before, Use it or loose it attitude. Hooked up with source and haven't skipped a beat, thanks.

Welcome, thats some bs the VA wont cover trt. After all you, myself and many more here have done. The least we should be given is a good quality of life. Glad you figured it out tho.
Yeah they literally laughed at me when I asked about- if I didn’t need to maintain a clearance and enjoy freedom so much I would’ve shoved his rectal thermometer in sideways and told him to take a knee, change his gd socks, take a Motrin with water and think about what he did very carefully.
Thanks to God knows how many TBIs, my HPTA chunked the deuce and said he was on permanent vacay.
Without going into detail, I now have probably the best insurance one could possibly have due to my career now and it’s been a life saver getting away from the VA.
But don’t get me wrong, they do some amazing things- it’s just sad it’s only in certain areas and certain programs, not the entire system.
