My introduction i guess

ad

Hey,

Thought I might as well introduce myself.

I'm 47 and more into endurance type of fitness.
I've been actively fit since my early 20's and notice now as I get older recovery takes a fair toll on me.
I'm into cycling ( road and mountain, although mostly mountain ... all mountain, light downhill type stuff)

I lift weights on a regular basis ... 3 to 4 times a week, do kettle bell routines for core strength and also a small amount of running.

Like I said above, recovery seems to have the biggest impact on me nowadays. I eat as clean as I can ( I work away from home so I've got to take what I get), tried protein powders, vitamins, supplements and still pull up like I've been run over by a truck.

I'm hoping to glean as much info as I can off guys on here that obviously have a lot more experience than me and hopefully pick up where I've been going wrong.

Away that's about it for now,

cheers.

cheers mate, thanks for the welcome.

I was sort of thinking along those lines. Seems I have the energy and willpower to push myself but just feel tired after it ... just not bouncing back.

Maybe it's just me getting old and tired lol.
