Introducing myself & gauging interest for educational/informative posts
Hi everyone,
I thought it would be proper ettiequte to introduce myself. Although I am new here, I have been involved in weightlifting for about 8 years now (with the exception of a blip in the middle due, more on this later if you are interested). I am involved in a few other forums so I do have to learn the rules here day by day.
I am not a medical professional, yet. But I feel inclined to share what knowledge I have and the mistakes I made. It helps cement in what I learn but also proves to be a way for others to discuss/debate or learn from what I share.
I have a few topics of interest and wanted to see what write up/discussion you guys would like to see first.
- Clomid Monotherapy
- Dosing AI
- Occlusion Training
- Syringe deadspace and waste
- Aspiration Required?
- Z-track technique
- Supplements and research behind them
My experience prior to injectables consisted of orals and pro hormones 3 years back. Prior to weightlifting I was a 6'0" 125 lb twig, slowly but surely I naturally worked myself up to an low-average 165 lbs but wanted more. I have to admit I fell into anabolics because of frat brothers and did 2-3 cycles of orals and ended around 180 lbs 14% bf. Unfortunately, we had no knowledge of AIs, SARMS, HCG, PCT etc. Long story short I was lost (don't want to use depressed, because I feel that term is thrown around lightly these days) after graduating and ended up losing my gains, developed Gyno, and gained roughly 25 lbs of fat. The past year, I decided to pursue a career and schooling in medicine. To that end, I have become enamored with the intricacies of our metabolism and endocrine function. My love for our general body health and weightlifting returned as well. As I learned more, I did some labs/blood work to see how I damaged myself and my HPTA axis. Thankfully, my liver function, imaging, and thyroids studies were normal. However, even after getting back on the grind, proper dieting, and losing 20 lbs of fat; my T came out to a whopping 268 ng/dL (no wonder I felt like shit). Which is perfectly healthy according to my doc and the lab. After much debate and discussion another physician I decided to give steroids/TRT another go, and correctly this time. Since starting anabolics again, the quality of my life has never felt better but I do wish I didn't start so young and that I put more emphasis on diet and routine early on. Going forward, I'm not looking to get massive but I do wish to maintain health T and an aesthetic but functional figure. In the coming month I will post blood work and later this year pics of myself after Gyno surgery.
Again, since I am new to the website, please correct me if I am doing something wrong.
Thanks for taking your time reading this.

PcushionYou should try a solid restart for HPG function before you get to deep into TRT. Not talking a PCT. I am taking about a solid reboot. HCG and long term low dose clomid. It’s highly doubtful you completely ruined your HPG unless of course you were already low T from birth which is doubtful. Keep in mind total T isn’t a big issue free T is where you should be looking plenty of guys have low total T but drastically higher than normal free T. Free testosterone is all that’s useable. Welcome
Welcome to the boards. I would be interested in seeing your bloodwork. Really a shame you don’t have bloods from before your experiments in college, I’m always curious to see what a difference the lack of a pct makes over time. I’ve talked to several doctors that are adamant that you can make a full recovery without PCT but the recovery is significantly prolonged.
Also, have you ever tried doing a PCT by itself to restart your natural production before going on TRT? Sometimes a proper PCT can restart a persons suppressed HTPA, even if significant time has passed.
