Hey there folks.

I thought I should get in here and introduce myself.

Like many of you Im sure, I have been around the block a few times and I have been in the game for many years. Im 43 years old. 6 feet and 230 pounds @ about 10% BF. I have been training as long as I can remember but got very serious back in junior high or so. I didnt get into the serious gear game until I hit my 40's, but I had done some very short cycles back in my 20's. I never really needed gear to get where I wanted to go, but as soon as I hit 40, I told myself I would never let age and my hormone levels slow me down. Today I am stronger, bigger and better than I was back in my 20's and I keep improving each year. So for you young guys on here, if you do things right you can stay in the game and keep making progress for a very long time.... IF you do things right. That means reading all you can on Nutrition, Training, Health and Healing and GEAR. I train as hard and as heavy as I can and that has been my mantra since I started. Keep getting stronger and the gains will come no matter what, so my main goal is to always put more weight on the bar. Now that Im in my 40's, I do tend to be more prudent with that mindset, but it remains the primary ingredient of my training style. At this point I dont know if Im going to be a huge "poster" because Im busy with life, work, and family, but I wil lend my opinion and assistance to who ever is interested. I love to talk training. If you are interested in what I do, I will talk about it. If not, I wont. I am on other boards, but hardly ever post because bodybuilding boards turn into a huge flamefest very quickly. I hope that this place is not like that.

I came accross this board because a friend of mine told me about it and at first I thought he was full of shit. I have been a memeber of PAY sites that talk openly about sources, but I never have seen anything like this place. The concept is brilliant really and I describe it as a "comsumer reports" for gear. This concept has been needed forever and Im very happy this place finally exists. Im sick of getting fucked over by sources and its time to take control back. I think the concept of this site will accomplish that goal. These fucking scumbag scammers cant hide forever and now we have the ability to reach out and AFFECT change in the gear market place. I do have some reservations about how easy this site has made it for people to get gear, because there are a number of people on here that shouldnt even touch gear. BUT that is a conversation for another time and to each his own really. Im just happy this place is here finally.

I will do my best to be a positive addition to this place and I look forward to talking to some of you in the future.
