Glad to be here
Hello yall. I found this site recently and am in the midst of researching so thought I'd join. I've been working out for a few years, eating right, etc. I'm 45 and have been on TRT for awhile. I asked my clinic if there was anything that could help with performance in the gym (expecting something like a supplement) and they prescribed me anavar, then offered me deca, "for my joints". I'm not 100% on the dosage/advice they're giving me but it made me start thinking of and considering PEDs, especially since I really liked the effect of anavar (havent tried the deca yet, more research needed). That set my research in motion, which brought me to another forum that wanted me to post tons of pics and buy n2guard and just felt odd. So I came and lurked for for a bit before joining. I'm glad to be here and hope to learn a lot.
P.S. Any advice on finding a (preferably) local coach knowledgeable of PEDs would be most appreciated!
P.P.S. Any book recommendations for learning about this subject would also be much appreciated.

Welcome bud
Welcome
Welcome to the forum. Havent heard it called PED in a long time since its a sport term. This is a good forum you will grow to like and learn from
N2guard is just higher priced Liv.52 with some TUDCA sprinkled in. Overpriced stuff formulated to fleece ya.
I have some supps from musclehead coming in he is trying similar formulating things specific for people on gear and I’m giving it a shot.
Overall welcome to the community man! Be weary of those online TRT clinics- most are the same made to fleece ya out of your money/fronts to sell you overpriced test and other anabolics. Anavar can be super harsh on lipids and such did you get consistent bloodwork while running it? What dosages?
I think low dose deca for joint lubrication would be safer than even a middling dose of anavar, but you’ll only know if you got bloodwork done- the more you try compounds and notice how your body reacts/what symptoms you suffer the easier it will be to gauge things such as these.
Sent ya a friend request have a couple good books & resources.
I will give input for free, but I will say the only true coaches I’ve made stellar progress with were guys I could go and workout with in person. Building that connection and having the person there to correct specific things in real time is essential to me, but I could see the benefit in either.
Just be weary, and welcome to Eroids brother!
Hey thanks for the welcome. Yeah the clinic is getting too pricey when it comes to buying T. I can't justify spending that much when I know what it really costs. I'd rather go to the source.
For the Anavar they said I can do 48mg/day for 8 weeks. I got blood work before and after and it all looked fine to them, though I need to better learn about reading and interpreting the results myself. I just feel like they're prescribing me whatever and expecting me to figure it out.
I'd definitely prefer the in-person type coach, just not sure how to broach the subject of PEDs with them without coming off like a narc.
Thanks for the info, not seeing the friend request though.
