+ 1 Wife no longer wants me on the juice...now what??
ad
My wife has now just decided that she wants me off the juice. I have been on TRT for approx. 5 years and on gear on and off for about the same time. I am 45 years old and look in decent shape....which the wife doesn't like(all the attention I get). She told me she wants me off for health, financial, and legality reasons. In a nutshell, the wife said pick me or the juice....It just doesn't seem right to buy gear behind her back, but at the same time why should I have to stop. We both work and have no kids together. We have been together for 11 years and I was not juicing when we met. I know my marriage means more than gear....I suppose I have answered my own question.

Your 45 dude at that age i suppose you can be on gear trt wise. How come she hasnt said anything in the last 5 years till now?
it could be her recent weight gain and me looking good for 45....I just don't understand women
I will compromise some but if my girl tried to pull that we wouldnt be together any longer. plain and simple i respect my girl and dont do shit thats fucked up for her and the kids but I do what i want to do. shes not a hostage and can go whenever she likes, I lived alone for a long ass time and although it would suck for a few weeks and she would drag me through the courts that threat holds no weight in trying to get me to do as she wishes.....So with that being said if she told me that i would sit her down and ask for all the reasoning and then try to talk to her, but in the end she would have to let it go or go which ever choice she made.
ive told many a women go ahead and go then just to find after the shit storm it was an empty threat they where sending. something about women that they like to SEE how much they can get away with, funny thing is after they dont go seems like they are MORE in love cause they cant control you!
BigBmajGreat response. I feel the same exact way.
I feel like I'm too old to need to explain myself. Putting conditions on a relationship is total bullshit. It only leads to resentment and silly passive aggression.
Yes sir...I agree that women love to give empty ultimatums in a relationship and they do see what they can get away with. My wife has given me a few in our time...I always call her bluff.
I couldn't agree more. I have seen too many friends cede control over their relationships only to have it get worse. My wife like yours is free to go and do whatever she likes and if she has a concern I will listen, but at the end of the day she knows I am going to do what I do and I will not be reckless.
Of course there are some men that are not capable of being the leader of their household, but that is another story.
Obama BlowsBAM!
AnonOne of the easiest answers I've ever had. Anyone who picks drugs over family has sold his soul to the drugs. Whether its illicit drugs or drugs from your doctor. If the doctor prescribes a certain dosage of TRT then stick with it. Sort of like my pain meds. I get a certain dosage and count. If I'm popping 3-4-5x the prescribed amount my wife would probably say something too.
If you do leave her be honest and tell her you love the drugs more than her. At least man up and be honest about your addiction and how it comes first.
Otherwise show your wife that nothing comes before her. If you love her and value the sanctity of marriage this ones easy.
Don't trade in your wife if you love her. I would sit down and explain to her that you enjoy what you do. As long as it doesn't control your life or cause relationship issues. For myself I am very fortunate I have a girl that understands that I like cycling. I told her before I went into the relationship, This is what I do and im not gonna change for you. Now if you want to have children one day, then you can come off and try to get your natty test up and have children. Then jump back on after. It isn't right for her to say to choose between her or the juice. But technically that's your wife and your other half so nothing should come before her. I would just sit and talk to her more about this and how you feel.
I do love my wife and maybe I should just sit down and talk with her. We don't even plan on having kids...oh well its all about compromise I suppose.
Obama BlowsGear>Wife!!
Nuff said
Trade her in for a newer younger model
she is 9 years younger than me...im 45....ive seen some nice mid twenty year olds in the gym....:) yummy I'm old enough to be their father....but who cares
Obama BlowsLuckily there's plenty of those 20-25 year old hoes with daddy issues who are all about getting plowed out by a 45 year old dude!
so true...the weight room faces the cardio room.....you cant beat seeing a 20 year old hoe on the stair climber wearing tight pants...big tits and sexy ass....
Obama BlowsYep..my ex was one of those hoes lol smokin hot with daddy issues....her man before me was 46 and she was 24! And he had a beer belly and didn't have money and wasn't hung like ron Jeremy...find yourself one of those tramps my good man!
now wonder your wife wants you to quit, if your talking like that here then its coming out of your attitude at home and women have a sick sense of understanding. You probably think your hiding it well but she has probably caught on to the cockyness and see's where its gonna lead!
Maybe the question is more inline with how you need to check yourself and why your wife feels that way.
I was banging a girl that worked the front desk of the gym I went to.....I wasn't on gear then..just very horny
yeah...she knew that I cheated on my 1st wife...
she thinks i'm very cocky and have a big ego..
and she associates this ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ with steroids, I dont blame her for what she has said!
Obama BlowsI see we're on the same page here LOL
Obama BlowsTime to upgrade your woman
...and there are plenty to upgrade with...lol LOTS
Obama BlowsAgreed! And I think having a woman is just like having a TV...in the sense there's always a newer model coming out every year ;)
If I traded her in for a newer model...would she be entitled to half my retirement? It could be a costly upgrade....I retire in 9 years
Obama BlowsDivorce is always costly lol Hence why no man should ever enter into such an awful arrangement!
Ed could probably arrange to have her put in his trunk.
LMAO...
Obama BlowsAnd yes, I'm quite happily divorced lmao
BigBmajI feel for ya bro. I'm sort of in the same jam.
I finally said I had to come to that conclusion on my own, or I would either start lying to, or resenting her. She appreciated that I said that and dropped it. She did say "at least you will die doing something you love, which is more than most people can say".
As far as the TRT goes. That's crazy. It would be like telling her you'd drop her if she didn't drop her antidepressant.
Have her go to an endocrinology apt with you and maybe the doc can talk some sense into her.
Tell her if she gains another 20 lbs you will bounce. Mention it's for her health and financial reasons.
I wasn't clear about the TRT.....she thinks that is fine because my doctor prescribes it to me. I would never come off the TRT. Like you said...it's best to drop the gear and keep a happy marriage than sneak around buying gear.
Happy wife = happy life. But you also need to be happy my man. But if she has legit concerns for your health and financially/legally regarding your cycling... then... you have to listen to her and make sure these concerns are legit. If they are... then at least you have someone that cares about you.
If she doesn't like the attention you get and that is a sneaky factor in her wanting you to stop? I think that should NOT be a factor and you should set that straight right now. If you're trustworthy then you should be trusted. Simple as that.
As others have said, you're on TRT which is still a massive bonus. She can't argue with that, that is a healthy thing if done responsibly.
I read below that your wife isn't in the best shape? Maybe you can start there, help her find a little bit of happiness and she will understand more the pride you take in looking and feeling good
I'm 33, so you're my superior with a ton more experience than me so just my 2 cents. I'm all for self-sacrifice... but only for the RIGHT reasons. I'd hate to be bitter towards the person I love over time.
She does care about me....it's a combination of caring for me and her own insecurity. I agree...30ml of cyp every 6 weeks is a big bonus. She never questions what the Dr prescribes.
You have the TRT dose, which she likely doesn't understand completely anyway, so that works in your favor and if I was a betting man I would bet this too shall pass. She is just tripping, hopefully it is only temporary.
You are spot on the money....she doesn't question the TRT...she thinks my test cyp isn't a steroid...ive tried to explain
So just run Test alone for a little bit til things calm down. Maybe talk to her about HGH and what that could do for her if she wants to get into better shape? Once she is into this lifestyle (if at all possible) her tune will change.
5 years on trt? she wants you off... i think we need a trt vet to chime in here, but i would be concerned with coming off after this long. how will you reboot? what will you go through while you do? what will you natty levels be at after reboot and how well will your htpa system work, 5 years is a long time on trt. the implications of coming off really need to be explored. i think you should find one of the trt vets on here and go over the pros and cons of coming off trt after 5 years. im lucky to have the woman i do, the better i look the more she loves it, shes flattered when the ladies look me over so long as they dont try nothing. i cant handle or deal with insecurities. i love my woman but if she were to restrict what i love because she is insecure i would walk, even after 20 years
My wife doesn't want me off TRT...just like icepirate said...she doesn't think of TRT as roids, she doesn't understand the TRT. She thinks test cyp isn't a steroid because the doctor gives it to me....
she truly needs educated in the AAS world. glad she dont want you off trt though. good luck.
I think its wrong for her to think she can take away something like this from you. If i was you, thats what i would question, if your prepared to give this up, get her to give something she finds equally important and see how she finds it.
well...she does love to gamble....easy blow $600 in one night. Cheaper to buy a cycle of deca and test.
VewiNice i like that
RustyhookerTrt is for health and life. Cycling....well.....figure out half your assets then just give her the rest because in court that's how it goes. Cheaper to keeper....
I thought about that too....half of everthing and then I would be to broke to buy gear anyway
RustyhookerMaybe you can get her into gym as well? If she's feelin hott and got her hot dude....maybe she'll chill.
She may honestly be concerned about your health women worry about us a lot , but the jealousy probably has a lot to do with it none of my women have ever liked how much attention I get.
yeah I think that's the problem...she hates it when women look at me ...she says.."...i'll give her something to look at.."
Vewiyou are correct + some of that Jealousy is they know you look good, and they dont feel they are where they should be.
very true....to make things worse, my wife has a weight issue. I think she would happy if I was chubby and women wouldn't give me attention.
