Who's got first-hand knowledge with certain effective liver care products?

ad

Hey guys/girls, I was trying to find someone who has first-hand knowledge of any particular liver care product that they have used that PROVED effective. The only way you would know for certain that it is effective, of course, is through blood work. There's nothing wrong with opinions on the matter, but I'm trying to find some actual fact based, first-hand knowledge from blood work. You've got all the popular ones like Liv52, Tudca, Milk thistle, etc., but I don't recall ever speaking with anyone that has personally said that they took any one of those products after testing for high ALT and AST levels and then later got more blood work done only to find out that it proved to be effective. Appreciate any info you guys can throw this way.

I actually did get blood work done before and after using liv52. My alt and sst were high used a out 4 tabs of liv52 double strength for a month then got blood work done again and they went down to normal. The doctor gave me this look like "how did you do that" lol I didn't even bother to explain it to him

That's the problem buddy.

We know what works best for us through trail and error, but most medical professionals haven't even heard of the things we use to protect our self's which is scary when you think about it

I run and rate in this order.......
1. Choline and inositol
2. Essential forte
3. NAC (n-acetyl-l-cysteine)

This is what I've found works best for me. I had bloods done when running Choline and inositol recovering from a liver infection. 2 weeks of hospital every day to monitor my health and the nurses agreed it was helping reduce inflammation

I'll vouch for tudca here too. I started using it after reading gearheads post on it and did some of my own research on google scholar that supported his findings. I also use milk thistle and ala. My liver values have been pristine while using tudca in conjunction with orals.

Ive had bloodwork done while on a hefty dose of thai dbol, and a low dose of accutane while on TUDCA and NAC and my liver values were perfect, another time i had bloods one about a week after a superdol run, again liver values were perfect, no way they could correct themselves in a week after any oral run let alone superdrol, so based off my blood work TUDCA actually works. As also stated in gearheds post.

Yeah I think I'm pretty damn sold on TUDCA as the short term and during cycle solution. It's somewhat in line with what I already thought but this all cements if for me which is exactly what I was hoping for so I really appreciate the help, brother! I'd +1 everyone if they'd let me. lol

I wrote about this, maybe it will help.

My experience with TUDCA is not that it knocked down already high enzymes but running the same cycle of orals with and without it, with it they didn't elevate in the first place.

Oh bro, that is a brilliant read! Can't thank you enough. So for year round you recommend milk thistle...any recommendations on dosing?

Dickkhead's picture

1,000 mg / day should suffice.

Problem is you will have a time off effect here. You need a control group somehow. What I mean is time off the thing that is causing the issue may lead to improved results. How do you attribute the improvement to the supplement or the time off? Good question though.

MAXIMUS666's picture

That's actually a good point. I can see how there could be a few variables you gotta get around to really give you a solid gauge of the supplement effectiveness. Thanks for bringing that up. Now you gone and made shit all difficult! lol

MAXIMUS666's picture

Much appreciated brother! So just to be clear then you actually had some bloods done and after using this the bloods showed normal/lower levels again?

MAXIMUS666's picture

Well that certainly sounds like solid evidence, but are you also saying that you think the livatrex was even responsible for the overall lowered cholesterol levels though? I'm not sure I can see how the ingredients in the Livatrex would aid in lowering cholesterol but I'd like to hear if I'm wrong because my cholesterol is certainly higher than it should be.

Did you do the 5 day cleanse with the Livatrex? Or just take it by itself? Just read all about it and uh... doesn't sound like much fun!

I read all the reviews....sounds like its a good idea once in a while but nahhh.....not gonna do it! Don't feel like drinking epson salt and olive oil and feeling sick! Did you follow the 5 day diet? That looks harsh...no real protein for 5 day's! I can live without the carbs but not sure I can go without meat or maybe I just don't wanna! ;)

Much appreciated! Giving it a look as we speak.
