weird pain pinning my delt with tne then some swelling and bruising
about three days ago i was pinning some tne into my delt with a slin pin. ive done this a million times. this time i moved down just a little prob around a half inch to an inch lower. it was fine sliding the pin in but when i started to push the tne in it started to burn like crazy. i stopped pulled it out and pinned the other delt. i am very clean about it. i clean everything with alcohol very well. here is the problem. 2 days ago i noticed swelling in my bicep. i iced it and took some advil and it seemed to do down a little. but here i am 3 days out and its still swolen ( not more then before but still swollen). also today i noticed its starting to bruise close to where i pinned it.its only slightly sore when i raise my arm. other then it being swollen im fine. no fever. i still have a full range of motion. im kind of baffled as to what the hell i did to myself. i need to make a decision on whether to hit the doc. since tomorrow is friday i dont want to wait and end up in the emergency room over the weekend.

Whenever someone has pain that is described as a burning sensation in all likely hood there was a nerve involved. So IMO you pinned a nerve. That swelling is likely local inflammatory reaction. Ice and anti-inflammatories and don't pin the delt for a couple months.
Just find a place on your body that has really low body fat and pin there when using slins. For me that is my quads shoulders or biceps. so depending on what I'm working out is where I pin it.
Edit I just looked at your pics you may need longer needles than slins
Slin pinning gas gone sub Q John. Need a 1" needle unless your bf is very low. Even at 7-8% Istill use a 25g 1" in delts.
Sounds to me like you missed injecting IM and in the process hit a vein which caused the bruise and the gear drained down subq and is causing some soreness and slight swelling. I've had this happen before, last about 3'days you should be good in a day or to if not, go get it checked
AnonWhat kind of oil in the Tne? Did it have any EO or Guaiacol? Had you already used the Tne from this vial? This product period? You could have hit a nerve. I don't like slins for Nything other than subq injections.
its guaiacol i believe. and yes the vial is half gone. never a problem. this is the top product on eroids. great stuff!!! it is not the tne
AnonThen you're the problem. It happens. I'd try going deeper 1-1/2in needle. Slins are cool if your bf is super low and you're hitting all muscle. You probably tagged some subq and it didn't like it

Had the same problem a week ago Big J. Slin to the delt with guaicol gear. Standard shit but this time it burned for a few seconds, and of course I just pushed through it. Cuz, ya know... tough guy shit. Lo and behold it leaked and went subq into my front delt bicep region. Felt like I tore something. But I knew it was the gear. Big lump in my delt, kinda hurt, but not red or hot. Hot pad and shoulder day helped. And of course not pinning there for at least a few weeks lol.
RustyhookerWonder if ya got some subq?? If you didn't pin bicep on upper end accidentally, maybe subq. Benedryl help?

RustyhookerMuscles are wrapped in fascia. So for oil to jump from delt to bicep would be near impossible. Try benedryl. No relief then let Dr check it out.

I've had it burn when I didn't let the alcohol dry completely before I pinned. Pip for a few days from this also

I've hit a nerve it felt like a shock kind of whenever I pinned didn't feel good injecting either lol
sounds like everything I went through just last week.It was infected I had the swelling,I had a small blotch on my arm and each day it grew a little bigger.Warm to touch,I jumed on kflex about 4-5 days in and was lucky enough to stop it before it got worse.By the 5th day my arm was red and mildly swollen.I had the exact burning pain you are talking about during injection right delt....Kflex bailed me out on that one.You should have kflex on hand 500mg 4 times a day for 7 days but of course the doctor is always the best option good luck

But what I'm inferring from your post is you put the needle in, injected some of it, then took it out and put it in the other side with the same needle. That's not sterile or clean at all. You might have an infection. Never ever use the same needle. If I do an injection and hit sometime and have to take it out and go to a new spot I always switch the needle tip. It's not safe use the same one again after it's been injected into your body. Even you take it out and put it into a new spot 2 seconds later it's been compromised.
i did my left delt first and that is where i have the problem. i finished in my right delt and it is fine. so im not thinking infection
Hmmm. Well sometimes I just have bad luck with injections even with the exact same protocol. Same shit actually happened to me a few weeks ago. The needle went in smooth as hell into my quad didn't hit a nerve or anything which is rare. I start injecting and it starts to burn like all hell. I has to take it out and find a new spot to finish . But god damn that hurt like all hell right then in there not the next day like most pip. The next few days were bad.
Basically the same thing always happens with my delts minus the buring. Horrible pip for 5 days. I don't know what the problem with my delts are but I gave up with them.
