Vetting new sources- consideration appreciated
With the recent scam perpetrated by prime labs it seems the outrage is pretty obvious. No doubt we are all aware of the chances we take with sources and cannot hold our risks liable to the site owners or mods.
I would like to however propose something for the site admins and all of you to consider that may assist in cutting future losses. The consideration would be to disallow any NEW source from posting an advertised minimum order for say a period of 3 mandatory probation months. This will give an opportunity for everyone to minimize risk and allow testing for authenticity. This will also give peeps peace of mind but more importantly reduce the number of scammers from popping up and make eroids more credible in who they allow on here.
This is not a perfect solution but I think it will assist in making these occurrences less likely to happen. Ultimately this would make any supplier EARN the right to be here. If this sounds like a good idea to consider let's look at this and possibly implement.

if a source has a high minimum order fee, plain and simple-they won't get business..
whereas, as source with no minimum will have the chance to sell "test runs" and build their rep..
I don't think it should be a dictation by any means, rather-a sources decision if they actually want to make money!
if a new source has 2 review that say how shitty they are, it'll stop people from ordering from them in the further.
The speed that sources come and go is amazing !!!

Of the top 11 sources only 4 of them were here when I registered as a member of Eroids (6 months ago yesterday).
Of that 4, 3 are Non-US based and one is domestic, and one other has re invented himself.
It is a nature of the business, when the heat gets to hot and the smell of pigs surrounding them is getting to strong, they close up shop and go to the beach to cool off in the water and wash the stench of pork and donuts off. Putting restrictions on them when they return under a different name could backfire.
Just use the big board to seperate the wheat from the chaff. (If you need, I'll write a thread on how to do that.)
Why wouldn't I ride out my scam for longer than 3 months then? After 3 months I'd have a lot more fish to haul in.
When I play black jack I sit at the $5 or $10 dollar tables because sitting at the $20 table is too risky for me to have any fun.
What I'm suggesting is; if the risk is too great, use another source. If the source wants to attract more business he'll drop his minimum on his own. You might even ask him in private if he'd wave his minimum for your first order.

JtizzleGrrl has the best point so far , assumed risk is a very real thing and for a 100% warm and fuzzy feeling with no risk of any issues you would have to not use any SRC. I love the fact that Eroids is run the way it is and you are asking for more involvement in free enterprise.. That almost never fairs well for the consumer... That being said I hate that people have lost money with this situation , although if you are that worried why wouldn't you use one of the top src's and reduce your risk?

AnonI guess I will throw this out here...this site is a review site. The soirces on here are required to have working websites because the realiity is Eroidds is NOT the facilitator of sales ...Etoids is not a source...we can't and shouldn't be dictating terms of business for them. Just my opinion..

Nasty81NateI agree 3 monthes is too long. Most good Donestic sources only do 3-6 month runs. They only run that long for safety reasons.
