+ 13 Verified fake review on **edit** - Evidence Within -
A self-proclaimed "honest review " by user 'JohnnyGo' for edit is indeed as fake as it seems. A simple reverse image search of his before & after pictures, purportedly from a cycle in 2014 (at age 31), reveal that the image is from a bodybuilding.com transformation series from 2010 (at age 35). Basically, I got burned and wanted to investigate the glowing reviews that had me baffled given my negative experience.. this does not look good and makes me question the amount of fake accounts/ review manipulation that occurs. I hope this helps others and does not get swept under the rug as eroids has been a trusted source for myself and countless others. I was not going to just keep to myself about this.

Why do we still see reviews with ban tags? Shouldn't they be deleted? Are their votes still included in the ranks? Shouldn't be if they are. In fact if there's a shit ton of obvious fakes then maybe all votes and reviews should be deleted.... I mean wouldn't that mean that someone working for the source is faking for them? If so then fukem, delete everything and make them start over for cheating. It's one step behind outright scamming isn't it?

you can, in there respected area....it was open before and we had to change it because the drama created was outragous, all the sources would show up to talk about their brands and fanboys from each source would show up. well just think about this, a question in general topic section that says" what lab is the best"? you get 8 labs mentioned, 4 sources show up to talk about their labs and testing procedures, and mass specs they have done, plus each source/lab gots 10 followers show up to the page! LOL how do you think that would turn out? it didnt work well so we had to change it.

that time Iron. guys like ole Nitti would loose his mind, if he didn't break his foot off in someone's ass first lol. as far as we would be concerned, I'd think trying to make a educated and calculated decision as to what source was on the up and up, and gaining wisdom and insight would be a nightmare. nothings really always perfect, however I get a little pissed when these young, newer guys come in here and shit all over the place. just feeling a little gr8tful tonight.
I could just imagine the free for all. Makes my head spin just thinking about it. The forums would turn into useless dribble like most of the SI pages are now.
That makes sense I suppose. I just think that every once in a while, like in this situation, it should be allowed. Or if someone is on week 7 of a gram of test and bloods come back at total test at 202, then the source should be able to be called out publicly. If something is like that is taken care of behind the scenes, then the one customer on bunk gear gets taken care and no one else know about it. Seems like it defeats the point of the site. Maybe that's just my opinion, and I realize it's off topic from the original post - so no response necessary.

do the mods here check ip addresses linked to the accounts here to see who has multiple accounts? or could you just disguise your ip , each time you log on through a different email account you opened to have different accounts here?
i always wonder how many accounts are fake when i see a bunch of reviews from people with like 1 or 2 karma points for sources i am not familiar with.
EXACTLY BRO! Whenever I'm doing my research i pay attention to that. When I see a bunch of great/raving reviews, I look at the members stats. If the reviews or discussion posts are from a bunch of members of "basic" status with 1 or 2 karma, I move on along and stay away. I need to see a FEW reviews AND positive posts on the discussion page from some known, respected, and trusted members before I'll even think about taking a chance. I realize that no matter what, there are no guarantees but it's just one more step I take and that we can all take to protect ourselves.

The ratio is quite steep, like 100 bad accounts to 1 bad source if not more.

I brought up in that sources SI page why most of people who left reviews were banned. No one really had anything to say. Unfortunately I have some stuff from that source which is likely going into the bin. I'll try it out and leave a review whether positive or negative. Good catch. +1

I've been watching a source on here who is quiet high on the rankings who's main reviews are accounts opened in a day, before and after photo slapped up (you always get loads of karma for them) and some gear pics for good measure. Once they can they vote and review they disappear. Looking at their track they took 0 interest in viewing anything in the forums, strange. I hope it gets sorted too.
I think a lot of us noticed that. I confront him one time & of course he denied & even refer me to his upcoming Promo. It's kinda like insulting our intelligence when sources do that shit. Anyone with a bit of brain will realize what they doing!
I remember, we both commented on the same photo.. There is no real proof I guess.

EDIT quality was really good (at least my experience). Probably the source doesn't have enough money to do real advertisement. As long as they deliver what they promise I don't care. Their prices are unbeatable

I noticed that too, and many of them are banned. They sure did shoot to the #1 spot pretty quick though. All this has achieved is for another site to pop-up only with better quality fake accounts... its discouraging really.
