Vegan Gainz
ad
Hi Guys "N" Girls
I will get straight to it.
Vegan diets, Are they Optimal for Muscle mass, or can they be as good as a diet that includes meat.
Im old School, i always thought complete proteins from meat were the best source of protein.
Can a Vegan, make the same Gainz as a meat eater?
I should mention, theres a controversial young man on YouTube right now,(Vegan Gainz) Calling people out,
on their diets Among other things.
Whats your take on the Vegan Diet?
Or is it another Fad?
Thanks for your Opinions, and if there are any vegans here please throw in some input.
Sincere thanks goes out to you.

Vegan and Gainz shouldn’t be in the same sentence.
Has anybody also noticed that vegans dont control their emotions well?! #hangry lol
Bang'emisnt there alot of estrogen in vegan foods?
StevebPhytoestrogens yes. Beans and seeds seem to be the worst. Like soybeans which are in everything vegan.
Bang'emthats what I thought, I just dont understand how anyone can live off of that shit
i remember my first grade teacher tricking me by asking what weighs more, a 100kgs of feathers or a 100kgs of concrete.
i straight away said the concrete lol but obviously they both weigh the same.
how much spinach or kale vs beef or chicken kg for kg or pound for pound would we have to consume?
also if people are going vegah vs plant based?
plant based substitutes are not healthy and not anywhere near as nutrisious for anyone compared to animal protein in comparison.
im talking about the substitutution foods that say " plant based burgers or plant based chicken etc they use fillers to try and create the same consistency and tastes as the real thing which is starch, and other flavor or thickening agents as such.
if its pure foods like such as pure veg, fruit, beans etc etc i do see health benefits in the average person in gut flora and blood pressure and flow etc.
but it still comes down to me on the pound for pound thing with portions.
you need convenience and function aswell.
drinking shakes and taking vitamins etc shouldnt be relied on and the people bringing the millions of year revolution debates into it they didnt have pills and supps back then.
take all supps out including protein powder and steroids.
put two people of same age stats and history with good health etc in the gym training the same, one can be pure vegan and one can eat both.
ive always advocated super greens.
i eat meat everyday training or not.
that portion of meat wether steak, chicken or anything is always served with a pile of steamed greens brussels, broccoli, spinach, green beans, kale etc
and always my carb potato, rice, pasta etc what ever.
no way us the guy eating just the greens going to compete in a gains contest with that.
my money is on the person that eats both.
if you wanna bring supps into into and blame digestion factors etc....... digestive enzymes, fibre, selenium etc etc.
always taking liver supps, always drinking beetroot juice, always watching lipids.
any proper vegan i have met looks scrawny, sickly and pale.
by proper vegan i dont mean athletes in steroids or supps including vitamins tanning.
im talking about the everyday person that doesnt.
my opinions.
everything in moderation is the key anyway.
you can overdose on vitamins and kill yourself drinking too much water.
anyway.
im hungry for some steak.
Very interesting what u said bro, any diet keto carnivore omnivores paleo etc can lack nutrients if we dont eat properly, i known many vegans who eats potato chips and doritos. Do u know that 85% of meat eaters have low b12 this is because the meat they eat comes from cows fed with grains and antibiotics.
No bodybuilding diet can be as good if it doesn't include meat. Can't get enough sources of good protein. A compromise is to eat fish, turkey, chicken etc leaving out red meat. It's not as effective but it works.
We get all the protein we need from legumes grains and veggies bro, am making more gainz now taking less protein than when i was carnivore, check this app add whatever plant u want and c it has all the essential aminoacids we need
https://cronometer.com/
Just because they contain them doesn’t mean we can absorb them.
Aminoacid no need to metabolize they are absorbed straigh by our cell but protein like meat needs to be breaking diwn into aminos before our muscle cell can absorb them
StevebThis is enough to realize you have no idea what you're talking about.
But he reads a food blog written by vegans. He’s got all the info at his fingertips
StevebThey even make Liposomal vitamins because vitamins wrapped in fat are absorbed way fucking more. And you won't get that from any plants.
This is a very assanine statement bro. Amino acids are the building blocks of all proteins. What legitimate evidence do you have that makes you think proteins from plants don’t need to be broken down and/or are more bioavailable than animal protein?
Vegan = death cult. Period. We've ate meat for around 2.6 million years. Why switch to slave food? We're not in a survival situation.
Vegan smegan
Watch out, a vegan might throw an avocado at you if you diss them.
Well, this certainly turned interesting quickly... everything in moderation ... balance is the key...
TronYa know...... Monkeys eat a variety of things and are not limited to either only herbivore or carnivore diets...so..maybe you should change your Avi pic to a Goddamn giraffe or something.

"A chimp will eat a ton of meat a year"
So this suggests we aren't a class of any of the "vores"? That makes sense.
Although the knee jerk, manly man, retort to your position is to claim we are carnivores. In truth, we are more like an Omnivore/FrugIvore hybrid. A "Humavore"?
Sapian is an evolution of Homo that is considered modern man. Earlier Homo's and pre homo primates have been eating whatever they can get their hands on for SEVERAL MILLION YEARS. It has been proven that their diets included meat.
So you're going to tell me that gatherer, scavengers, and eventually hunters never evolved to adapt to their diet over all those MILLIONS of years.
Your Comparative chart fails to recognise other aspects of (Hu)man.
(there's a lot of plant food in our diet we could not digest without cooking or preparing with tools FYI)
Because we could get more meat, we evolved with more meat as a part of our diet. It's not like a fad where we all woke up one morning and decided to eat Kale. Do you know what's a fad? Veganism.
A better argument in this age of easy access to food and refrigeration is, are we eating too much meat?
I agree, and many are arguing, that our ratio to meat and vegetables is skewed I'd listen to a rational argument in favor of smaller portions, but...
Your position cherrypicks facts, is extreme and unscientific, and a fad. What should you care anyway? Your type thinks the world is going to end in 12 years.
The cooking process helps to break down tough proteins, making it easier for humans to eat and process. Some scientists believe eating cooked meat was an important step in the evolution of the big, complex human brain.
You vegans with your simple, small brains need to eat some meat and wisen the fuck up.
Please check this guy channel he is a scientist and can explain u guys things better

Sure, Bill Nye is a "science guy" and Pamela Karlan is a "Stanford University Constitutional Law Professor".
Here's a word you need to learn young blood. "BIAS"
We are frigivores bro, fruit takes only 30 min to digest is tge perfect food for us while dead flesh can take up to 48 hours or even more, part of it will pudrid inside us causing many issues and illnesses, luckily for us our gi track is strong and can deal with it for many years. Carnivores species have a very low stomach acid -1 thats why they can eat huge amounts of meat fat and bones we human have around 6 which is very alkaline and not suited to handle dead flesh.
The sugar from the excessive amount of fruit destabilizes blood sugar levels, which can lead to lethargy, cravings, lack of concentration, a disrupted microbiome, and more. Plus, it's impossible to get complete nutrition from fruit alone.
Not such a perfect food as you might think. Vegetables, grains, meat, and fruit are all needed for our evolutionarily complex dietary needs. Fruit is the least important food source
Show me one other animal that cooks their food, uses complex ways to prepare it for eating, and where evolution of the brain overrode other physical evolutionary steps.
Some people claim that meat doesn’t get digested properly and “rots” in your colon. This is absolute nonsense, probably invented by dishonest vegans in order to scare people away from eating meat.
We have short colons, long small intestines and lots of hydrochloric acid in the stomach to help break down animal protein. The length of different parts of our digestive system is somewhere in between the lengths typical for both carnivores and herbivores, indicating that humans are “designed” to be omnivores.
In the small intestine, the proteins are broken down into amino acids and the fats are broken down into fatty acids. After that, they get absorbed over the digestive wall and into the bloodstream. ... So, meat doesn't rot in the colon. Plants do… and this is actually a good thing.
Our consumption of animal foods helped drive the evolution of our large brains, which set us apart from any other animal on earth. Humans function best eating both animals and plants. Period.
But just because we can survive without meat, it doesn’t mean that we should… quality meat has many nutrients that are good for us. This includes quality protein, vitamin B12, creatine, carnosine and various important fat-soluble vitamins, which vegans and vegetarians are often lacking in.

Thank you. This is all I’ve been trying to say. You’re much more calm about it and actually out together a thought first though... I really have to work on that lol
StevebThis doesn't even have to be that complicated when you eat plant matter almost all of it doesn't get absorbed. You shit like 90% or more out. When you eat meat it stays in your body longer because you're actually utilizing most of it. Your body takes in cholesterol it's designed to. Cows don't do that plus they have multiple stomachs and their intestines are way longer to deal with digesting plants.
Yea there’s a bunch of science on our side. And everything you find otherwise is almost always put together by people with an agenda cherry picking data, photos, reference points etc to make their argument and ignoring the facts and data that sounds bad for them (which there’s more of).
And agreed. Comparing us to cows is very silly. Shit, comparing us to any other animal is silly.
But I also don’t like the argument against milk. Saying we’re the only animal that drinks milk past infancy... yea... we’re also the only animal ABLE to drink milk past infancy because we have fucking opposable thumbs, a big brain and infrastructure... we’re also the only animals that live in heated homes built with inorganic material... does that mean we should all go back to cave dwellings and grass huts?
At the end of the day. There are a million reasons to eat a well rounded whole food diet that includes meat, veggies, fruits, nuts and grains. In rare cases, some people are going to have an issue with one of them and may be better off leaving something out, but some people also die if they eat a peanut... I’m still gonna trash peanut butter cuz it’s god damn delicious.
Cooking meat kills microorganisms so we don’t get very sick... I still like my meat rare no fucking homo!
Our canines aren’t huge because we don’t have to kill things with our mouth. We have hands. We still have canines though. You can’t just get a graphic made by a vegan with confirmation bias to prove a point. You know they got to hand pick every picture to prove their point right? I could find some pics to make a graphic that supported mine too.
Tell me then. What explains this vegans teeth, if diet is the only thing that dictates teeth structure?
This argument would make sense if we didn’t have opposable thumbs and a larger brain, and have literally been eating meat since the dawn of man. If we weren’t supposed to eat meat then why have we always eaten meat? That’s not a good argument.
Gorillas aren't vegan. Not even close. Hell, I can't think of any vegan animal in the wild. Even cows will take meat over grass if they have the choice so...
Interesting. I was always told gorillas only eat plants.
StevebNo animals are vegan some just eat very little meat.
Damnit I fat thumbed ya instead of reply. Oh well here’s a +2 haha
Interesting. Well shit man. I legit didn’t know that. Maybe my memory is just shit. But I swear I was taught that... Philly schools aren’t very good in my defense.
there were vegan dinosaurs ....... or at least that is what they tell us ..
StevebThat's why they're extinct
Maybe they were just judging by the teeth lmao!
well, it isn't like we could ask them ;-) and even the herbivores .. well what happened when they accidentally ate a bug... isn't that meat? did they spit it out?
If they were proper they did. Anything else would be uncivilized.
if no one saw it then it didn't happen ;-)
Well... I do it when shit hits the floor. Guess the policy is as old as time lol
there is the old 3 second rule ...
RustyhookerVegan....nope. insanity fad
I like my steak Rare!
A vegan diet is healthier of course, but it is very difficult to get sufficient sources of good quality protein on this diet.
A compromise of sorts is to drop red meats and eat only fish, turkey, chicken instead.
Is not every single plant has all the essential aminoacids
Says who? And even if they “contain” them. Do you know how much of them are bioavailable? I’ll give you a hint. It’s low.
