Training by IFBB Pro

ad

Anyone else in here been trained by an IFBB Pro before? I'm looking to give it a serious go and but wanted to check in first to see if anyone experienced it before, and how good the results were.

Thank you everyone for all the input! It's much appreciated. Yeah, with all the info that can be gotten online nowadays, I could just do it all on my own. I guess the whole thing would be getting just tips or tricks, but then again what might have worked for them probably won't have the same results on me.

I've worked out with one pro on let day..... Lets just say I never wanna go back lol, high reps for me is 50 he made me do 100 reps per set worst pain I've ever felt in my legs. I layer on the ground for 30 when I got done so I wouldn't pass out

I agree with Classy, it all depends on which pro it is. Just because there ifbb doesn't necessarily make em good trainers. I been trained by a guy who never even competed and this cat kicked my ass, i meant beat me down.

This is so true I believe in any sport or endeavor. As a fighter I can say my best coaches and trainers looked like they never in their life trained. They had an amazing ability to transfer knowledge to their pupils which is amazing when you consider that we all have our own process when working out information. I have also seen elite fighters get into the training side of it and be horrible simply because of their bias of thinking the pupil should know exactly what they are thinking because they are already good at it.

In only a few occasions have I seen champions become great trainers.
