+ 13 To the new guys wanting to start a first cycle just like me- Please read

ad

I am new to this site. I can't give advice on gear, diet, A.i's or PCT

WHY????? Because I haven't done a cycle yet. I thought I was ready, I have stored a lot of knowledge, and worked my ass off in the gym. I even have the best diet I have been able to manage without failing off the rails at all.

BUT, when I started interacting with the experienced builders I found out real quick that I didn't know anything. So I am up tonight, last night, and the night before reading things have already read.

When someone seems to have an "attitude" or just telling you no, it probably isn't what you think. They have either made the mistakes years ago and learned from them, or seen others do irreversible damage, sometimes serious damage to their body.

Even though I was very well informed and had done a lot of research I still missed so much because of the excitement of the journey I am on. If your journey starts with anabolics then you have passed a lot of steps.

As I said I don't have much advice, because I haven't even ran my cycle, but listen to these guys. Yes it is your body, money, and health, but you have people here that can give educated advice. Not all of their answers are correct, but they are lights years ahead of me and you. Learn from them, compare opinions and then make decisions. People here aren't your doctor, but many of the veterans will try to keep you from harming yourself unless you are unwilling to listen

At the end of the day its up to you, but being disrespectful, or thinking you know it all won't get you the help you likely need.

Why am I not on a cycle. Veteran's made comments that forced me to admit that I am close to ready, but need more time.

Today alone I was looking into nutrition. I posted a thread and got so many great responses. They were helpful. However, four hours later I found a well written article that simplified about every food option and food group that answered so many questions. So research. I did and am still learning something new on here everyday.

I felt like everyone was trying to get me to never do anything to improve my health or meet my goals. they were simply protecting my health and I made the decision to step back for four weeks and learn more.

Again I can't give advice on anything that has to do with a cycle, but i can tell you when they say RESEARCH, it isn't just so you not an annoying person begging to be spoon fed. It is actually for YOUR benefit. I am benefiting daily.

I'm not calling you out one bit brother. I'm saying you're misinformed. You have now figured that out. Great. Let's get you going on the right track. Too many people stirring the kettle. Let's let the Endo do it. Fuck the rest of the noise. That goes to Rusty and irishmack. Quit acting like you run this place. Last time I checked I see no mod tag. You guys need a hobby

fusebox's picture

You know I still love you right. No homo of course.

Sam I Am's picture

Consigning? Says the guy who was going to quit steroids and eroids due to health issues. Remember the forum you posted a couple months ago? Now your running tren...guess it's ok for you to run shit but not others.
Like Viking said on another thread yesterday. Anybody can give cycle advice but a picture speaks volumes.
You've called out Growmore and myself and we both posted with date cards. Now man up and post yours...

Hell if he part of the nofap team then not busting a nut in over 14 days will cause an increase of 150%. BTW, nofappers are dumb as rocks. I am getting in as much of life as my girlfriend can take before I rock off into the dark.

giardap's picture

Blah blah!

Rusty, the dogs in the street know that testo can jump by up to 100 points, depending on whatever..... But your sage advice; "your numbers are good sir". No, they are not.... Or maybe they are... how the hell would you know? You didnt even ask the man how he feels and just called him a liar ffs.

You reckon a change in the wind caused that drop (and maybe it did!)? Then advise the man to go get more bloods. Advise the man to post full bloods, advise the man anything other than what you did, because for a 37 yo, one thing is certain, those numbers are BELOW average. Is he fully functional on those numbers like some? Maybe but you didnt even ask. Is he sliding and asymptomatic? who knows? Is he symptomatic? Should have asked....

Man you dish out some of the worst nonsense on this site sometimes..... from atop of your "tall horse". You need to jog on and learn a little about reference ranges. Maybe go research the thyroid forums where you will get a fast understanding of why most reference ranges are prehistoric, generally speaking.

Do some research man, instead of calling people liars.

giardap's picture

LOL

Again.... Blah blah blah!!!

Stick to your PIP posts Rusty!!! There are newbs on here that have forgotten more than you have learned over the years!

giardap's picture

LOL and awayyy

It is a good pic tho!

I didn't want to start another thread. Some people wondered why I listened to you in the beginning. You all squabble a little. I don't want people to think I am after "Karma" or whatever so I am putting this far down the page and wanted to thank you and Viking Evolution.

I was doing my homework like a good boy and even though you and Viking have a different take on A.I's you were both really trying to help people in really old threads. He was helping and bitching because people weren't reading good advice, but viewing other crap they didn't even need to.

I have learned in the last 24 hours a lot more, but with more to learn about A.I's and both of you sent the point on home. I can't count how many threads of bad info I read on A.I.'s and was about to dose enough to really restrict gains or crash my E2. I am now trying to learn the old school way a little better from threads that have comments from Viking Revolution about A.I's, but thanks to you both.

mindset's picture

Well you're entitled to your opinion. Thanks. I am waiting to make sure I don't put the cart before the horse. Honestly, I had clomid and nolva in hand, but not the A.i's.

Between my doctor and reading posts on here I am still confused and working out and eating the best I can until I know what to do. I was supposed to start my cycle last Friday so I'm bummed, but I don't want permenant TRT unless I know I have no choice anyways.

giardap's picture

Focus on the facts man......Cycle is noise. Ppl telling you TRT or not TRT is noise.
Opinions without facts are noise.

What are the facts? Tanked free testo. Total is more than 200 points below where it should be for your age.

What you gonna do about that??

mindset's picture

I did get a full blood work done, even peed in a jug for 24 hours. I was about to post it the other day, but after I got the blood work everyone said I wasn't ready so I didn't even post it except for the test.

giardap's picture

And to think that there could be evidence in there of what is causing your other wacky bloods.... you know? The full picture almost always gives more info.

Honestly, it is less about being ready and more about; you may be developing hypogonadism or suffering from your big fat loss (I did read you dropped a load of weight?), or maybe thyroid or whatever?

Look I will say no more than this bro; your last bloods showed a problem. You need to investigate it and forget cycling which will with 100% certainty male things worse for you.

I missed all the other info on the other posts when I dropped in to this forum the other day and gave the OP a +2 for what appeared and I’m going to choose to continue to believe are good intentions.

That said and I am caught up now and have had a look at the full bloodwork posted on the next page and I agree with you. So OP gairdap is right and stop being distracted by questions on your integrity and reasons for making the post. The real issue is what are you doing about your testosterone/free testosterone numbers? And yes I agree youve made the right decision by not pursuing a cycle now but that only half the story isn’t it and the one that should matter least to you. Take it from someone who is on trt but only went on at 43 because I did thinks as right as I could for as long as I could and hear this if I knew what I know now I could have possibly pushed that date out for a decade or more. You’re a relatively young lad so you don’t want to fuck this up.

So looking at your full bloodwork nothing else is jumping out at me but more info is needed. I’d like to see full thyroid function. I’d also like to see your SHBG (they must have it as they gave you a free test number). I’d also like to see your ferritin levels, LH, FSH and prolactin. That would give us more to go on...OR....you go and see an endocrinologist who specialises in this stuff.

Lastly and something to think about diet, lifestyle and sleep/recovery plays a massive and often overlooked part in determining hormone levels at any point in time. So if you did want further help - be it here or with an endocrinologist you should provide a full picture of this being completely open and honest.

Good luck.

It's a good post with seemingly good intentions. I hope that you continue to read, research and learn - not only from the guys here but from the greater scientific/medical community. Your profile says that you are 37. You can still make good gains at that age with correct diet, nutrition and exercise. I was still doing well natty at the same age and even into my early 40's. My (unsolicited) advice is to wait for as long as possible before going the AAS route. Once you step onto that road it's difficult, if not almost impossible, to go back. You used the analogy of a journey - with AAS you can really shorten that journey - but isn't the learning made during the journey - much the same as life? Once you 'arrive'...what then? Anyway - good luck.

I could tell you were gtg right off the bat. You didnt get all tore up immediately.

That’s a very smart approach not just to the sport but in life in general. Knowledge is power

Good post, great attitude. Good to have someone taking their first steps into this world and being vocal about it, it’s hard to pipe up about things on the forums when your just starting for fear of being knocked back so hopefully you’ll get some interaction from other newbies and your attitude will rub off on them.
Good luck on your journey

Dacky's picture

+2 from me. If only more were like you and took what was on offer instead of getting all uppity. Keep this attitude and you will go far - not just in terms of BB/AAS use but in life in general.

fusebox and Rustyhooker thanks for the advice. I have learned more than most people that already started a cycle, but it still wasn't enough. I don't want to make mistakes. I am sure I will at times, but you guys have some threads, links, and comments I have found that have corrected so many things I COULD have done if I started last week when I had planned.

This is what this site has that no other does. We care. Not only about you but about the integrity of this site. We will not give info to the lazy people. If you want info search for it. If you ask questions you better have answers to those asked of you. Ultimately that's the reason we are here. +2 from me for being reasonable and responsible
