+ 40 Tis' the season... FOR CRASHED GEAR
Weather is starting to turn and cold weather is coming! One of the reprecussions is that some gear sent may crash due to cold weather. Now many of us understand this and know how to handle gear BUT there are MANY new to this and don't know what crashed gear IS, WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE OR WHAT TO DO:
CRASHED GEAR will look cloudy/thick/chunky
THIS does NOT mean the gear is BUNK or you got SCAMMED! So we don't need 100 alarms going off by uninformed noobies setting off 100 more alarms.
SOLUTION: Re-Heat the gear! Dependent upon HOW crashed it is it can be reconstituded by something as easy as a HAIR DRYER to placing a vial in a PAN W/WATER on a stove.
NO you do not submerge the vial! 1/4-1/2" should suffice but be SURE water level is BELOW stopper!
Be sure to pierce the stopper (a quick poke with a syringe should be fine) to alleviate pressure within the vial!
As gear is heating give it a swirl and you will notice clarity returning! : )
FEEL FREE TO ADD OTHER METHODS AND/OR INFO THAT MAY BE PERTINENT SO WE MAY ALL PARTICIPATE IN THIS PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKE AGAINST AN UNFORTUNATE REALITY THAT MANY OF YOU MAY (OR MAY NOT) BE INFORMED OR AWARE OF!

My dhb keeps crashing
I had that problem with my car.
Alphamale500Dhb is notorious for being unstable and constantly crashing. You can just heat it up before each injection. That's why some of the better UGL's won't even carry it! It's just too unstable. And this part is just my opinion but, if you do find Dhb that is very stable and doesn't keep crashing on you, I'd be a little suspect of it having other compounds added to it. Or, it could even be a totally different compound altogether.
You know it’s DHB when you get surprise PIP 4-5 days after you pinned and you thought you were in the clear lol.
Honestly I’ve never had it crash. But I keep my house at 72, I heat it in a pad for 20 mins before each pin and I only order it in the summer.
I’ve actually never had anything crash. I must keep it in a good spot cuz I had TPP once... it was in my closet for a couple of months and perfectly fine, brought it to my buddy’s house and it crashed within 2 days lol
Bang'emI had to do this not long ago, recently all I did was run the tap water since it gets extremely hot in my house and help it under the water while slowly twirling the bottle in a circular motion for like 5 minutes and it was completly clear and good to go.
Winter is coming. Better keep this in mind.
Alphamale500Here's another very simple way to reconstitute crashed gear that I like to use. You'll need one of those hand warmers, like the ones they sell at Home Depot or Lowe's. The brand that those stores usually carry are called Hot Hands in the orange package, or Little Hotties Hand Warmers in the black package. Although, any brand is fine. They only cost about 0.50 cents for a pack of 2! I always keep some laying around, just in case.
IN SHORT, SIMPLE TERMS;
Wrap the warm hand warmer around the vial of crashed gear for about 15 minutes, or until it's fully dissolved back to pure oil with no crystals in it. And that's it, you're finished!
SPELLED OUT, STEP BY STEP;
All you have to do is open the package and take out the hand warmer, shake it thoroughly to activate it, wait for the hand warmer to heat up, then wrap the hand warmer around the vial of crystallized(crashed) gear, and keep it wrapped snugly around the vial with a rubber band or a small piece of tape. Now, just let it sit! It should take roughly 15-20 minutes to fully reconstitute the gear. You can shake it a little bit every 5 minutes or so, but it's not absolutely necessary. After about 15-20 minutes, give it a good shaking, and once you see that it's all turned back to regular looking pure oil, your finished! Your gear has now been fully reconstituted!! If there happens to still be a little bit of crystallized oil, let it sit for another few minutes until it's all pure oil!
This method is completely idiot proof, lol! With this method, you don't have to worry about the oil getting too hot or how long to keep the vial wrapped up. Even if you left the vial wrapped up in the hand warmer for the full 12 hours or so that they stay warm, everything will still be fine, and you won't damage the oil in any way. It doesn't get hot enough to ruin the gear! So you can just wrap the warmer around the vial, put a rubber band on it, and come back about 15-20 minutes later and it's done! (Just be sure to shake the hand warmer and let it heat up before wrapping it around the crashed vial!)
P.S.; To prevent your gear from crashing from this point forward, and just in general, you should store it at room temperature between 59°F to 77°F(15°C to 25°C). Unrelated to this topic, you should also protect your gear from light.
+1 for this very relevant topic this time of year
Excellent tip. +1 for the info. I'm a pretty avid hunter so I have a stash of hot hands for cold weather days.
Alphamale500Thanks bro! This is a very easy, idiot proof method of fixing your crashed gear. The hand warmers are so cheap and the whole process is simple. You don't have to worry if your water is too hot, or how long to keep the vial in the oven etc, depending on which method you're choosing. Especially simple for the newbies. And the hot hands are my preferred hand warmers as well, lol! Orange package right?
Btw, the best part is you can't ruin your gear with this method. Even if you left the vial wrapped up until it cools off, it doesn't get hot enough to ruin the gear.
Bump. Thanks for the post this just happened on my last shipment of gear. Good to see there is an easy fix. =)

Ain't seen this in a while. This thread is definitely a keeper. Have had problems in the past with crashed gear.
To the new guys reading this make sure if you're using amps that the amp is dried properly and cleaned with an alcohol swab if you're using the water method - think infection and abscess if not cleaned properly.
Also if using amps and the hair drier method don't "over cook" your amp because when you crack it, sadly, it will shatter.
Thank you for the post. This came in handy this winter.
A few years ago my buddy left T400 in his truck in the middle of winter, pulled it out, cloudy and crystal he just continued to pin in his triceps said it hurt like bitch!
Testrogen_PropC...LOL that's pretty hardcore bro. I think I'd rather eat a cactus
RustyhookerHoly hell! No doubt. Lol
Testrogen_PropC...Bump. Tis the season once again
Yes indeed it's coming fast!!
Super good post. Thanks for the info!!!
Great info here! I had some high dose test crash on me last winter and was able to get it almost completely restabilized by running it under the hot tap for 10 or so min. I was lucky and didn't have any issues as a result of not venting the vial, wish I saw this post back then!
Thanks again
Gotta use this for my tren base 50... Did not wanna inject gear with crystals, hopefully it works
It's getting to be that time...This was a good read when I first joined the community. Still applies...
BUMP
RustyhookerAgree! I like the blowdryer and swirl. Vial gets warm so I wrap top in towel to not burn fingers. And of course. ..dont drop vials
I actually have tried a candle warmer and it worked well too.
RustyhookerI think I've seen you post that before. Pin in top and watch it?
Exactly and swirl...Just another method they may be helpful to someone.
Guess its that time o year

AnonHollywood................ You don't have not one hair on your ass if you don't get out here and post some shit :-)
wtf?! LOL
Seemed legit ,no?
hollywood is a good cunt- miss his brutal ness llol
great post,
i've just saved one of my vial of test p...
thanks for this,
+1
I know this is an old thread, but wanted to add my recent experience. I just received some crashed Tren Ace that was very crystallized throughout the vials. The vendor suggested piercing the stopper with a needle, as above, but then baking it at 250 degrees in the oven for 20 minutes. This worked perfectly, and was cooled down for injection within about 15 minutes, although I chose to wait 12 more hours, which I'd recommend, to make sure it didn't precipitate again, which might suggest something other than a crash, e.g. contamination.
Last year I had a crashed vial of Watson test cyp, got the doctor to write a new script and still got to keep the crashed vial (my mother didn't raise any dumbies) LOL
KMC!!!!!!

Brother where Ya been ain't seen you in a minute
Had a hard time locating this due to the search button not working so bump
Wild hammer, when you say to pierce the stopper, do you mean to just poke it by sticking a pin in and pulling it out OR do I have to keep some type of tiny pinhole opening WHILE the crashed gear is being heated?
It's cold as hell where I'm at. Is test-e 300 less likley to crash then say test cyp 250? So basically if my gear shows up when it's like 2 degrees outside I can recover it if it's crashed?
In Summary
I will know it's crashed due to cold weather if it's cloudy/thick/chunky and has crystals?
To fix the crashed gear all I need to do is heat it up til it looks normal?
I've used this source before so I know it's going to be legit but this is my first time ordering in the winter and where I'm from we are at record lows.
Bumping this as I busted out the hair dryer today.
Good bump. Been hearing lots of people complaining about crashed gear. But I also have been reading about them boiling it or using a hair dryer and it comes out of it but crashes again shortly after. Then they complain about horrible pip. Maybe the gear crashed again post injection.
I haven't had to deal with any crashed gear yet even though I live in the north pole and everything freezes solid here.
P2i2tNo! We don't boil the water. This will degrade the hormone if it gets too hot. Slowly simmer in a pan with about 1/2" of water. I usually stick a pin in the top and leave it there for pressure. but I am guessing just poking a hole in the top would suffice as well.but the important part is the water cannot be too hot. This is left out of a lot of these talks about bringing back crashed gear.
My mistake but I'm almost 100% positive that a certain shop on here was having few issues with the test cup and I read a post that they recommend boiling like you're boiling eggs. At any rate thanks for clarifying
Yeah if it drops back out of suspension I wouldn't use it and would contact the source. Mine held up fine, so I'm good to go. And I'm plenty familiar with arctic temperatures where I'm at too, unfortunately.

good post, thanks.
PhishphanGreat read+1
One of my tren vials looks like there's a rock in there
ClassyChassisIf it keeps crashing (like TNE or something), I put a little bit more benzyl benzoate in there, and then heat it. I'd start with 10 iu on a slin pin (0.1 ml) per 10 ml. Increase in 10 iu increments until it holds. Just did that with some TNE, landed up adding 1 ml to 50 ml, and now it's holding beautifully.
You can find bb at "accessory shops" or eBay, etc. Always good to have on hand.
