Three weeks out of the gym, not by choice.

ad

Hey guys and girls! I've taken some time out of the gym for three weeks while my wife had our second baby. (We had a girl). Even though I can still tighten up my muscles I'm starting to feel soft. I plan on starting my fall cycle in the beginning of September. It'll be an 18 week test e, 16 weeks of EQ cycle. I want to tighten back up and get my strength back. Does anyone see a problem with going into a cycle with only two weeks of back in the gym? I've lifted and trained for 12 years.

27 years old
210 lbs
5'11" tall

Many-Many congratulations on your family!!! Wonderful news :-) On the AAS side? Well, no. After 2 weeks, you should be ready to go again. Me? Well? I am probably not the best judge here, as I tend to just go for it, and if it feels good, and my panel is good, then I am good. Well done on your baby girl. :-)

congrats on the baby bro enjoy it,, they grow too fast .. one great thing about our body is muscle memory.. I have a similar story when my 2nd child was born i was out of the gym for 6 months, the longest break i ever took since 16yrs old .. long story short a few months later and a cycle i was back in the game in my personal best shape.. dont worry too much when the dust settle you get back at the gym and its light weightt babyyy

Congratulations on the new baby!! Three weeks off is not a long time. Actually it's probably something we should all do once or twice a year...give ourselves some time to get rest.
Have at it.

Edit... Just reread... 3 weeks... That's not bad at all. Thought it was 3 months. Give yourself a couple of weeks.

My opinion only,

I liked to have a decent base before taking my body into turbo mode. I was afraid of injury and got a good month or so under my belt. Also, you will make decent progress the first couple of months natural, getting your diet on track. It took me some time to get back on the right track and I didn't want to waste gear when everything else wasn't right.

All being said, if you do, just be careful of injury (muscles grow fast but tendons /joints can't keep up)

Thanks man! I came off my last PCT 2.5 months ago. But it's time to get back in the gym!

Get all the gym time in you can because here in about 6-9 months your life is going to change big time. Once they are mobile it's all over! ;-)
