WE have gotten far too comfortable with the under 25 crowd to where 23 has become silently "acceptable" (which it is NOT!) at this rate by next year we won't even blink at 22 and eventually THIS will be the board demographic if we don't man up around here and move away from the "they are gonna do it anyway..." mentality!

It just seems like its getting more and more out of control every day. All the mods do a great job but this is where Hollywood would shine. People were a lot more hesitant to break the rules when it got you an instant ban. Instead you see guys pushing the limits every day whether it be from posting pics, payment info, source repping, or being way to young to be here. Look how many new members dont even fill out the age part of their stats. All this bullshit was unacceptable 6 months ago...now it's a common practice
RustyhookerIf you look historically, I was here back when goth, grrl, Hollywood and roid were rolling tight. In those times no matter which mods were here ONE thing always was true. SEASONS. Meaning, if you look at the time of year when the site was chaos, it was when the majority was off cycle or pct. Folks get bored because those gains stopped, hormonal and bitchy. Fred crap on Joe and Larry jumps in.
Soon all the one cycle a year crew will hit spring rush. Then it's ALL newb questions. B itchiness about july..pct....then bunkers in September. It's a cycle for sure.

I disagree with you. Banning rarely solves anything for long. They just come back with a new username more pissed off than before. Not only that but most of the time shit works out before that is necessary. If someone is being a douche everybody lately gangs up on them and teaches them right from wrong. We will ban someone for a day or two if it is really going to far but short of a security issue or someone that is just off the hook it is better to let them figure out how things work here. Who here hasn't gotten into a pissing match or two?

I understand what you're getting at and understand your point. There are a few people that have got the hammer and come back to be bigger idiots under a new name. Unfortunately I think they're the same people that don't care when the members tell them right from wrong and end up being repeat offenders with the same bullshit all the time. Then you have the total opposite with members who have been previously banned and after being allowed back, apologized for their past behavior and are stand up members of this community. We can probably go name for name with people that fit into each category. It just comes down to how you show respect in another man's home. This is BFG's house, we're all guests here and should follow the rules the best we can. I think there's good and bad to it. Hollywood brought a sense of order/fear with him. It helped the situation in some situations, but as you say, it made it worse in others. I guess all I'm saying is that a quick ban here and there is a good thing There are those who are just here to cause problems. I don't see the advantage in giving the any rope, but that's just me.
Pissing match's rarely solve anything either. It seems to end up in the same place as a ban in many cases. I'm not sure what the answer is, but I do fully support the Mods and try to help out where I can.
Yes, of course every situation is different. People will certainly still be getting banned. But none of us on the mod team want to do that unless it is the obvious way forward. We had one of our resident nuts show up first thing this morning causing trouble and threatening people. In that situation there is no discussion, he gets a bullet.

I'm dealing with these issues at my gym. Young dudes all want to run Tren their 1st cycle. They run out of Test and pins mid way through their Tren cycle and know nothing about PCT. I try and tell them to just start with Test only if they're going to cycle. I've explained to them that I never did any steroids until I was 46 and not to be in such a hurry. I made mistakes when I 1st started but that was because of lack of knowledge. If I had known about this site before hand it would have been a different story.

Reality of modern AAS use T I'm afraid to say. Just have a look at some of the pics from guys wanting to run gear with absolutely no foundation built. Why bother though, easier to use AAS right?
Seems to be loads of it about at the moment, more youngsters after cycle advice, more inexperienced users giving the advice. Gets tiresome and unfortunately there's a limit to what can be done.
Some of the recent ones look like they have never lifted a weight, or even been in a gym. It's nuts.
Sad but true. We can bitch about it all day but that wouldn't fix anything. I think those among us that DO care and DO feel responsible for keeping as many people safe as we can are doing a great job. We guide people in the right direction who will listen and slam the ones who push in the wrong direction. At the end of the day, all that can be done is to keep doing what we're doing. That being said I feel like there's been somewhat of an upturn in the amount of guys who actually take good advice when its given. But for some severely immature guys, there's just no getting through. And unfortunately that's just never going to change.

A young guy started a conversation with me, at the gym last night and quickly went on to talk about his goal of competing in some kind of modeling type bodybuilding contests. Didn't take long for him to start openly talk about steroid use--his, not mine.
I asked him how old he was. F ...ing 19. Asked him if he ever heard you shouldn't start that young. He glazed over and stopped listening instantly. Started telling me his doctor said his body was mature for his age so he should be ok and that steroids were ranked as the 187th most dangerous drug, so not really dangerous. WTF?
I will picture that glazed over, "I'm not listening to fuck-all you have to say" look every time we try to discourage youngsters.
But we are morally bound to try, I guess
