+ 6 The trouble with getting Karma these days...
FACT: It's just not as easy to get Karma as it used to be. For those of us that have been here since the eroids BIG BANG it was much easier then because it was the few (attempting)to school the many and a lot of EXCEPTIONAL knowledge was going around. THIS particular EXCEPTIONAL knowledge has evolved into eroids GENERAL KNOWLEDGE so what was once deemed knowledge of the few is NOW knowledge of the masses.
Then we had the issue of Karma exploitation which had dulled the motivation of the more serious eroiders to step up and (now) most of the educating goes on behind the scenes where those of us aren't very concerned with karma (YES, I know thats easy to say when we already have karma but its true). We also had to black out Karma in certain Forums due to exploitation. With ppl giving karma for the MOST ridiculous bullshit it was truly diminishing eroids primamry purpose.
So for those of you frothing at the mouth for karma all I can say is either be EXCEPTIONAL or post a shiitload of pics

GearofWarI'm coming up on my one year "roiderversarry" here and was away for like the last 6 months because of life issues, kids health issues, etc. And in those last 6 or so months I've seen many guys that were at my level of karma when I left jump up to anywhere as high as 450 karma points. So, it would seem that karma was still being given out with some sort of regularity. Unless of course all they did was post a shit ton of pics? But as hllwdbdboy points out its hard to contribute anything that is a real revelation these days because we're all spoiled by knowledgable members and also their willingness to put on the kid gloves and coddle the Noobs. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for helping out and any of you who know me know that I'm really easy going and get along to go along. But I think it's an asset to have courteous members that use the search function and follow general forum etiquette. I'm way off topic now but yeah, I agree. It's really tough to get karma for worthwhile contributions unless your in a karma whoring ring. In that case, good luck to ya! The MODS will soon be breathing down your neck. Although there are a few members here that have been banned for whoring, and have returned with karma as high as when they were banned for it, that's another story for another thread..I'll carry on with my karma where it is knowing that most of it is from legit contributions.

Then I saw a newbie that has been a member for 1 week and he already has 43 karma points. I'm like wtf??? Looked at his profile and it was nothing to write home about. So getting karma may be easier than you think, for some people that is. Not my dumba$$. Its all good
I think I saw the same guy. Been a member 1 week and now has 44 karma points. Most are from pictures, which looks like the same stuff, just separated and one or two items in each one. Okay.... Sorry, end of rant.
I think that karma earned the right way and over time actually means something.

My 2 cent worth is people don't want to take the time to read through the forums for answers. Hell I'm guilty of it some myself. But all in all this site is and has an outstanding group of people willing to help members out in any way they can. As well as if you take the time to look it's almost guaranteed someone else has asked the same question and it's done answered.

Always seems to be the common sense that comes out once is a blue moon to attract my attention enough to write. you are correct and it is a very good thing that one must now add something really significant to earn Karma. Much of the knowledge you can get here has become "common knowledge" and I think that is great for the eroids community as well as juicers all over the world. Before eroids grew to what it is now much of what we now consider common knowledge wasn't so common. There are many people out there that still need the simple milk knowledge but it has now become so accessible that in order to be recognized as having contributed something worthy of karma you have to either help someone with specific needs or bring something good to the table and I think that's how the karma was intended to work in the first place so I think overall it has worked for the better of the community. I myself am glad to have learned so much here and glad to see that it is becoming so common that I anyone can learn the truths and benefits about aas use. So thanks to all eroids and fuck getting karma for free. earn it guys by enlightening the world with knowledge from your experiences and studies. If you get karma for it cool, if not know in your heart you may have helped someone. That is where real satisfaction should come from. Shit I sent Tread a one legged transvestite hooker as a sign of my appreciation and he was happier with that then 2 lousy karma points.
I get the odd karma point because people take pity with me because i am a little frail old man... desperate to hit 600 BFG said he would get me some new dentures at that stage... its f-ing hard work chewing steak with gums lmfao!

I didn't even realize my karma went up three points, Idk when it happened but hopefully it was legitimately earned. Guys that post each of their products individually from the same company rather than all together bother me. Desperate for points it seems. Sure other sites you can't reply/view certain things without enough karma or posts, but this is eroids, things are actually legitimate here...

amen brotha.. i came in on the tail end of the hand-slapping karma giving for responses like "no homo" and "just my .02" etc etc... most points given now are hard earned by the individuals, writing out detalied responses to questions and truely helping a person in need vs just writing "no good bro" and leaving it at that.
but some of these people are overlooked for whatever reason, i try to do my part in giving out points to those who deserve it to help them along- because no matter what anyone says, its a status symbol, and we all want that next badge.. its like getting a metal for a job well done. this pushes people to research more, and become a better person themselves in an attempt to help out someone else who may not be as experianced.

Agree with this 100%!!!...I see a good response that is well intended and well researched, I point it up...that's the whole point of this. Understandably...sometimes some of the material can be general, but when it comes down to it...it's the nature of the person offering solid advice who is looking out for someone else's better welfare...and that's the big picture!!!

Nah...Seriously, I try to be an active member and for that other people have bumped me up for giving decent knowledge. I have an addictive personality and for that I have researched my ass off and poked and prodded the more advanced members for knowledge. Once I have the info, I try to pay it forward to those who demonstrate the willingness to research on their own, but hit a snag with what they have already read. It seems like I am at a point where my book smarts have exceeded my experience. I have researched all the compounds, stacks, ai, pct, ect...., but need to get the first hand experience to really give out the advice. Because of that, I don't speak all the time. I was told when I was a youngster that: You have two ears and one mouth for a reason. You are supposed to listen twice as much as you speak. This way you might look like a dumbass, but when you speak you prove it! LOL
