VewiMass is a fundamental concept in physics, roughly corresponding to the intuitive idea of how much matter there is in an object. Mass is a central concept of classical mechanics and related subjects, and there are several definitions of mass within the framework of relativistic kinematics.
According to Newton's second law, we say that a body has a mass m if, at any instant of time, it obeys the equation of motion;
f = d/dt(mv)
where f is the force acting on the body and v is its velocity.
It can be derived if you know other physical aspects - example
mass = Density X volume
mass = Force / acceleration
mass = momentum / velocity
Technically that equation is f=mDv/Dt
Because mass is not a derivative of time & acceleration is not a partial derivative of velocity with respect to time.
F=ma
Simply stating Newton's second law correctly.
