Testosterone bloodwork

ad

All doctors say to have your test bloodwork done at approximately 8 because that is when test is highest.
Does everyone here exclusively get bloodwork done in the am while not on cycle? What if someone works during the night and doesn’t get up till noon or something. Testosterone production changes during a 24 hour period based on a mans sleepcycle. A man that wakes up at 12 that will be the time for bloodwork because testosterone is highest when you wake up. And a man that wakes up around 8 that would be the time for bloodwork. I need someone to concur that testosterone levels during a 24 hour period change mainly because of a mans sleep cycle and the fluctuations are mainly not based on the location of the sun in the sky. Right? I looked but couldn’t find anything specifically mentioning any of this

Levels fluctuate the most for men in their mid twenties to early thirties, which is way too soon to be using gear unless prescribed by a medical doctor, physicians assistant or nurse practitioner.

There are two solutions.

1) Have your physician allow you to bringing your own specimen, which is what I do.

2) Have a number of tests at different times to determine a more true average

Heres a link to an article that pertains to your question.

Ha. Someone must be bitter they got banned.

Hahahah

Add some decent stats and you won't need to be playing this game. Of course, based on your comments and behavior, you got the age right this time.

GizmoDuck's picture

And your point being?

Testosterone works on the circadian cycle. Highest in the am lowest at night. However for testing purposes a few hours shouldn't make that much of a difference for getting a relative reading!

dextetherdog's picture

Don’t overcomplicate the things, to be sure, do couple of tests and compare the results to have a clear picture.
Not sure if you’re going to read this though considering you’re already banned

No stats, no reviews... 7 is not your lucky number.

I think my IQ dropped a little after reading this

I think even if you are someone who works nocturnal hours/does shift work and you are use to that kind of time cycle your body still responds to daylight hours and the gravitational pull of the moon etc so therefore natural test levels are still highest at 8am rather than 8pm.

Ozninjaguy's picture

You are talking about our natural Circadian Rhythm. It can be upset through shift work, jet lag and other disruptors. So the OP does have a relatively valid point.

I was agreeing with him dude however the whole thing works - I was hoping you would chip in as I knew you'd know about it all lol

It's all good mate. I don't know about it all but CR is a well established scientific phenonena within both plants and animals. The Earth is one giant yet infinitesimally small iintrinsically interrelated biosphere. Everything is related to, and interacts with everything else.

That is until all the trenbolone seeps into the soil from the sweat of all the roid users in the gyms around the world and the earth turns into one big angry, hungry, sweating ball of Fire Hahahaaaa....

Rumour has it that it prefers acetate to enanth as it enjoy's the burning kick of the 'earth cough'...

In other words, tren can make you go deaf.

I'm normally up during the night also, plus with cycling I guess it all makes no difference to us anyway but I was just trying to help him for what its worth. I guess its the same as the saying goes 'an hour's sleep before midnight is the same as 2 hours after' lol
