swolen thyroid

ad

my doctor recently discovered that my right thyroid is swollen. i have used t3 in the past but havent used it in months. has anyone else had this problem? he said it is probably not cancer because it is not lumpy. but i had an ultrasound done on it today and go in later to see what my doc says.

i dont think so. i eat an metric shit load of sunflower seeds that are salted with iodenized salt. so i doubt thats it, but its a good question to ask my doc thanks

I have a swollen thyroid as well. my doctor had me tested for gluten allergy and a lot of other things. evreything came back negative. it could also be your parathyroid I believe as well.

I get them frequently. My TSH is borderline low, and T3/T4 also normal. I get a goiter (swollen thyroid) periodically. It makes swallowing (no homo) difficult and food get caught. It can also hurt. The first time I thought it was strep throat. It happens if I use letro, just something I've noticed.
