Subq test did I mess up?

ad

A few years ago I was prescribed trt (cyp) by a doc. He recommended the subq route and I went with that and liked it better than IM. I only did the trt for a few months and then got off of it but never had any problems with the injections and my bloods were solid and steady.

Fast forward some years I decided to do a light cycle of test only. Never done one before. I got some 250/ml test enanthate(ordered cyp but got this). Was going to do the same subq route that worked for me before. Did my shot of only 0.4 ml (starting at 200mg my first week) in the stomach.

3 days later I have tenderness and a small lump. No redness or warmth. Is there some reason the nonpharma stuff should not be administered in this way? Should I anticipate an issue from this subq injection? What went wrong I never had this before? Btw I know everything was clean and my technique was good.

Thank you for your help and advice

Tried it for funsies once, with script test. Welts all along mid section the entire time. 2mL
just do it IM, the alleged differences aren’t worth it in my opinion.

Don't put .4ml in your mid section. You can get away with .1 or .2ml. Use a different site if you are injecting more.

Did not realize that. So I guess I'll just assume because I bought from a reputable source I should be good to go IM for the next pin. Should this bump/tenderness hopefully clear up in a few days? I'm new at this and the whole ugl thing is a bit of a mind fuck for me. And this hiccup had me freaking a little about sterility and quality. Thanks for the help

A slightly older friend of mine had been on it for years and had been telling me to do it since my early 30s and I always said no and felt it wasn't necessary. I was coming off a bicep tendon tear with a long rehab and was just feeling like shit and not myself and I guess I thought now might be the time. I was prob about 38. My test levels were really ok but not great either. I think right around 600 maybe. I had however been in the 900s the last time I had been tested maybe 2 or 3 years before. I went to his doc (guy was stupid expensive) who said he would prescribe it because it's more about symptoms than test levels.
I started doing it and obviously really liked it. I felt great but I started second guessing my decision. After about 3 months I came to the decision I should come off now or it's gonna be a bitch getting myself restarted. I didn't like the idea of being dependant on a medication for the rest of my life and started thinking about what a commitment it really was and what if I couldn't get it, losing my insurance, breakdown of society, zombie apocalypse and other nonsense. I decided I would just focus on strict diet and exercise and bring it back up naturally.

So basically I chickened out.

I'm about to be 43 now and have been thinking about it again. I guess I have commitment issues cause I still don't think I can really pull the trigger for the long term commitment.

And I know I should have had bloods done before this test cycle but I didn't so I actually have no idea what my levels are naturally right now. But if you could base it on feel I don't think they are very good.

So I clicked your avatar and did not see your blood test forum but I found some other interesting ones I read through. Thanks for the responses and advice. It was very helpful. The lump on my abdomen went away after some time and using some warm compresses. Also I've been doing IM and making sure to warm first, push slow and rotate sites. It's been going good. Thanks again.

Inject IM

Hoppyfresh's picture

Yea...I was gonna do that. There is no reason I should be concerned about the product tho right? The thing that made me nervous was the seller emailed me letting me know the exp dates would be past but it is because of some labeling thing but the product is actually new. I also got enanthate instead of cyp. He seemed to be well reviewed on source talk tho. So I assume I'm just being paranoid?

I wouldn't be worried about product. To much to pin SubQ.

Well it's kind of normal to get lumps when doing sub q. And that's the recommended highest amount to inject subq(.5mL) so it's normal to sometimes get lumps. It could also have a different carrier oil than the one you previously used also

Maybe refilter it to another sterile would help

Sorry what do u mean? I just draw up with a 1ml syringe with an 18ga needle and then switch over to a 25g for injection.
