staying on t3 for life...

ad

Ok for those people like me who love to eat (not unhealthy by any measures) but are forced to eat under 1900 cals when cutting and maintain at a horrible 2400 cals what do you suggest? This is with 45 mins of cardio and im over 225lbs... Really thinking about just staying on 12.5mcg-25mcg of t3 for life. What would be the consequences? I know my thyroid will get shut down but this will replace it basicly TRT for the thyroid...

Unbelievable... I cant believe what I am fkn reading here.. jesus!!!.

Right... this one is perfect for what I have planned here, lately I am fkn sick of reading posts from some of you Einstein motherfuckers who love to write about how high karma members and vets are always flaming and bullying the noob or the OP that simply wants answers!

Now is the time to shine for you fuckers by getting your condescending asses in here now and talking this guy off the edge of the tall building he is about to jump off!... then when you have sorted this get down to the steroid cycles section and help to control the spotty faced hard heads we have in there also.... I know who you are I have a list of names and I look forwards to seeing your outstanding knowledge and man management skills shine forth...... ok you don't like the sound of this challenge then shut the fuck up whining about my vets who are constantly trying to help people even in cases were the OP needs a good kicking just to wake the dumb fuck up to listen to some reasoning..... try it and lets see how long it takes before you and your approach gets frustrated and burnt out.

Next fucker that tears into my vets is out the fkn door..... period.

Horrible idea. Only your doctor should make a decision like that. Sounds like you need to fix your diet and stop relying on drugs to do all the hard work.

Why do you need 1900 calories? That alone will cause FAT GAIN. When your body is starving like that it will store fat instead of using it for energy and it will break down muscle for energy since muscle requires more calories to be maintained. Your brain requires 800 to 1000 calories alone per day to fully function properly. You burn a certain amount of calories per day just sitting and breathing and if you workout thats another 500-1000 calories burned. When you go in the negative your muscle will be the first to disappear to keep your brain functioning properly. Extremely unhealthy if you ask me, I have a family member who was anorexic and she destroyed her body by eating low calories and burning more than she consumes. This is definitely not the right approach towards fatloss.

Basically if you eat low calorie you will cause your metabolism to slow, and lose muscle, you will see no fatloss.

Take a look at this and digest the post and comments. You're being a little too cavalier about this:

Within this above-mentioned post you'll see some info from me. I had my thyroid removed a few years back, I now have to take thyroxine for the rest of my life. Without duplicating the info already in there, all I'll say to you is the physical part of thyroid disorders is the easy bit. It's the psychological aspect that people don't talk do much about. Did you know one of the first tests they run on people with suspected bipolar, (manic depression), is a thyroid test as the behavioural aspects have a lot of similarity?

On a personal note, I wouldn't wish thyroid problems on my worst enemy. Has had a massive effect on my life and those around me.

Anything you want to know about it, drop me a line.

Why not get an artificial heart, hip, knee, and catheter, while you're at it?

What the hell is it with people these days? One person wants to go on TRT at 23 because he's too lazy to do PCT. Now you want to shut down your thyroid because your too lazy to manage your diet? You want to manually take over what your body does so well naturally.

You might as well ask to be a diabetic. A slave to a maintenance routine.

im not looking for advice on how to fix my diet or getting more ripped, im fully aware of macros and dieting. I just want to live a life style where i can maybe get 3500 cals at my bodyweight. I just want to know the consequences not DONT MESS WITH THYROID give me reasons.. im aware of shut down but thats just like TRT

GRIMEY's picture

ok, so you want to eat 3500 cals, you said your maintenance is 2400 correct? sooooo
Eat 3500 cals, and adjust your cardio/workout intensity to burn that extra 1100cals if you are trying to maintain, adjust acoordingly to cut or bulk also, easy enough?

staying on t3 for life is the most idiotic thing I have ever heard, just like how every fat slob has a "thyroid problem" when really they have a laziness problem coupled with a hand to mouth problem.

Seriously? You want an excuse to not work out or change your diet? Go home, you're drunk.

Well the more you burn cals the more you can eat. But with that being said....stalling your thyroid could create hairloss, loss in appetite, weightgain, depression, extreme fatigue and many more. These are just off the top of my head. But don't f with it unless you exhausted all routes. You can fix your problem with other options this I guarantee.
