Sleep issues on just 140mg TRT
25M – I’ve been on TRT + HCG for about a year due to low-normal levels. I feel good at 100–120 mg/week, which puts my total test around 900–1000. When I push to 140 mg/week, I hit 1500+, but my sleep tanks—hard to fall asleep, poor quality, wake up tired, can’t nap, feel strung out. It's like I have to put effort into winding down to sleep, I don't just get tired naturally.
I’m currently cutting to get my abs back after a diet break/vacation, bumped up to 140 mg/week, but the sleep issues are brutal. Is the extra test really worth it during a cut, or can I still get shredded on 100–120 mg/week? I can clearly feel the difference between high-natural and supra levels.
Training, diet, and steps are all dialed in—I track everything. Just looking for advice from some more experienced guys: is the trade-off worth it?

Nice levels on that amount of test, 200wk only gets me 900 , definitely agree with the sleep, we all react differently and lowering test and sleeping well keeping that cortisol down will trump those few extra mg of test and some less water retention, low n slow brother, good luck
Well the thing is my cortisol is fine. On paper it's like 10-15 on the low end. Is low and slow really the way? I'm very scared if I lower my dose this week that I'll lose some muscle fullness and make it harder to burn fat.
You could always take some melatonin to help you sleep if you just have to run that much, considering your current negative effets, but we can't grow or lose fat the way we want to unless we have adequate sleep, you can run grams after gram of whatever. Eat whatever. The magic happens when we sleep.
You’ll get better results at 900-1000 test levels and sleeping well each night than 1500 test levels and not being able to sleep..so I’d stick with the lower dose..
This was what i wanted to know. Thank you VERY much for the response sir.
Ill be lowering my dose this monday
