-1 Shoulder pain?
ad
When I was in high school I had dislocated my left shoulder while in a game. took some time but I fully healed and had xrays done to confirm. every now and then on a chest day my should would ache after flat bench. I moved my grip to put more stress on my lats and arms to relive my shoulders. this worked a great amount. has anyone had this experience? I take animal flex and all is well. just wondering if anyone gets shoulder pain and what was their method to relief that pain

If you've previously had a shoulder dislocation then you are more succeptable to future shoulder issues. If you think about it, the rotator cuff muscles attach to the humerus, which gets displaced in a dislocation. Those muscles, as well as the supporting ligaments and joint capsule were "stretched" a significant amount during the dislocation. If you have bad form or work different angles when benching, those muscles, ligaments and capsule will get stressed too much.
I'd suggest going lighter weight with great form or ditching barbell press all together.
RustyhookerQuit doing flat bench. Switch to dumbell presses.
x2 - This eliminated my shoulder problems.
BigBmajMine had to do with terrible posture. Once the postural correction was made the pain went away.
