Drum roll please................................... "and the second place award goes to" I stood there next to what I thought at the time was the biggest guy I ever had to compete against. All the others were already awarded and stood to the side of the 3 place podium and me and the giant were instructed to come forward closer to the judges. It felt like eternity passed as hot stage lights pounded on our fragile but well colored skin. The mc instructed us to hit our favorite pose to give something to all those that had cameras to shoot at. I held and squeezed my pose so hard that I felt millions of warning signals rushing to my overloaded brain that systems were running at full capacity. I can hear the crowd cheering as seconds seem to turn into minutes. Then the silent moment when the mc had to do the inevitable and that was to announce the second place finisher of the 40 and above veterans heavy weight category. My heart was beating the theme "show must go on by Queens" and I was confident and satisfied that i had the chance to battle it out with seasoned BB some having tittles like Mr. Universe. My name was called and I threw my arms in the air above my head and i felt hot tears wanting to well up. I was and am happy of my placing!!!!!!! Don't get me wrong, first would have been a dream come true but heck this is my first show since a long long time and what a way to make a comeback.
