New here and refocused

ad

Over the past 20 years I let myself get lazy and fat. I was never jacked or anything. In my early 20's I was around 225 muscular and athletic. I got up to 350lb with type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea, fatty liver, depression and anxiety. Over the past year I have refocused got down to 270lb. I still have a belly, love handles and the side boobies. My goal is to get down to around 240-250 get cut. Not crazy cut or anything but like "damn daddy" lol. I don't know anything about roids what to take what not to take what the things that I should take do I know nothing. So if anyone has any tips tricks or ideas. I'm open to them please and thank you.

Avoid roids for now, focus on supplementing correctly and healing your gut, getting your cardio in and maybe some reta.

When leaner start a cycle and go crazy!!

Being that fat stay off of roids for now. Go look into Tirzepatide or Retatrutide and do that for a few months and get the weight off and hit the gym and get a clean diet.

All the below advise is really on point.

Any idea what your bf% is? The higher it is the more sides you'll get from steroids. Consider using Triz or Reta to assist with dropping weight. That should also have some positive impact on your fatty liver.

Finally, if you do, I will also suggest not drinking alcohol.

Taking B12 and Folate tabs can help reverse fatty Liver and NASH mate, I've used them before when my AST was 170. I got it back down to within range after 4 weeks of using them - My Doctor nearly fell off her chair when she saw how effective they were.

Studies suggest that vitamin B12 and folate supplementation can help reverse inflammation and fibrosis in advanced non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD/NASH) by lowering harmful homocysteine levels and improving cellular processes like autophagy, potentially offering a new treatment avenue. These B vitamins reduce the progression of NASH, a severe form of fatty liver, by helping the body process homocysteine, which otherwise promotes liver damage and inflammation, making them promising therapeutic agents.

How They Work

Reduces Homocysteine: Low B12 and folate levels lead to high homocysteine, an amino acid linked to liver inflammation and scarring. B12 and folate help convert homocysteine into harmless substances.

Improves Autophagy: These vitamins restore autophagy (cellular "cleanup") and beta-oxidation (fat breakdown) in the liver, processes that are blocked in NASH.

Decreases Inflammation: By lowering homocysteine and improving cellular function, B12 and folate reduce liver inflammation and fibrosis (scarring).

350-270 is a great start man. one thing I’ve noticed is guys who spent years out of shape not taking care of themselves and then jump on gear, even after getting into decent shape before, they have a tough time on gear. They get all the side effects and then some. And Steroids will exacerbate any existing problems. So i wouldn’t be running any cycles anytime soon if i were you.

What you can do is get your test levels checked and see if you need TRT. Possibly look into GLP-1s to help with the weight loss and diabetes. If you needed TRT and got on it and a GLP-1 and dropped down to 240 or whatever it takes to lose belly and not be fat anymore there’s a good chance you wouldn’t be diabetic anymore, probably wouldn’t have sleep apnea anymore, and your depression and anxiety would probably go away. I think even fatty liver is reversible. Start on some supplements for that. But most of your problems are reversible which is good. You just gotta drop the weight, get into good shape through exercise and a solid diet.

As usual, @irongame427 is on point. I second everything he wrote. I might add that TUDCA has shown some promise with respect to helping reverse fatty liver, so you may want to consider taking that along with your diet and exercise routine. Keep up the great work, brother.

Ya TUDCA is good stuff for the liver. I’d also recommend NAC for him. Some milk thistle won’t hurt either. stop all alcohol consumption. Get on a solid diet with minimal low glycemic carbs and Lose the weight. Losing the weight and getting in shape will do the most for him.

Glutathione is another option he should explore.

This is good advise. I second continuing your weight loss and figure out your health before running any gear.
