+ 9 My Fitness Journey and eRoids
Hey guys! My 2nd post here but the 1st was a long time ago. I just wanted to share my experience here. I came here around 4 years ago when I was 19-20 about to be that kid you all hate here. The kid that just wanted to get "swole bro" and do whatever he wanted. I posted up and advice thread and of course I got flamed but I deserved it. But through all the flame I also had a nice dude named IronGame post on there and also friend request me and give me advice and he even wrote me a diet plan/workout and checked in with me from time to time absolutely free just out of the kindness of his heart to maybe keep 1 of those "dumbass kids" off of gear for a little longer. Now 4 years later I am 24 years old and I've been training off and on since then I went from roughly 160-165 from back then to my most was about 185 (have had some wrist injuries and stuff from basketball :/) and I felt like I hit a plateau. I had messaged IronGame even after not talking to him for like 2 years. I didn't expect a response but again a few days later he remembered me and responded and we're gonna have another 6 month training session together (completely gear free still of course)!
So, I just wanted to share that story that yeah some kids that come here are morons including myself being one of them and they may not like the flame that they get. But, I just wanted to say thank you to the eRoids community for the flame. It didn't make me get butthurt it made me more educated not only in the subject of gear because I did a TON more research after just for my own sake but it also helped me meet 1 of the nicest dudes I've ever met that has personally helped me in my fitness goals on and off the last few years. So thank you guys keep doing your thing and keep educating!!!

Rock solid, both of ya's!
A great advisor in IronGame and a great student/listener in you awolfe. But it's come full circle, and now you too are a great advisor and are paying it forward

Well done mate!
Its good we have alot of variety in age on here, irongame was a young guy when he joined also- we had a couple of mutual associates on here- champion of the mind and birdbear, i flamed irongame and he flamed me back and for unknown reasons we just decided to hate on each other lol.
We have definatly had our beef in the past.
Years have past now and we are cool, i know i can shoot off a pm too him if i need and he knows he can do the same.
Irongame is a valued member of the community and has spent endless time helping people, from back when we had beef to now he has grown as a man/ person and his knowledge is vast i appreciate his loyalty to this site and what he does.
So after reading this it makes doing what we do on here worth while.
Well done irongame and thanks for what you do!!
Boooom.
lol ya you did not give me a warm welcome when I first joined, prick haha. God I cant believe how long ago that was now, years a years ago. All in the past bro, youre part of whats left of the core crew on here, been here longer then anyone who still posts on this site. But ya man I agree it definitely makes all the long as posts we write to the young kids worth it when theres actually some who listen. Since he listened he has a pretty solid base, hes actually really strong, and hes smart and that base of muscle and strength is much much easier to hold onto since he did it naturally. and Id like to think he avoided fucking up his body by listeining and not running gear at 19. He has patience which most people just dont have and its one of the most important traits one must have in this journey were all on. Even on gear muscle doesnt come that quick like most people think. 10lbs of muscle in a year is a huge success IMO, that comes out to less then a pound a month. But if that can be done for a few years in a row it adds up to a shit ton of muscle. Obviously that rate cant be sustained or wed all be coleman sized.
Lol it was over milk thistle haha.
All good and agreed mate.
hahahah fucking milk thistle. We were both hot heads back then and two hot heads can argue about anything.
Lol we still are yet as stated above we have both matured as men and aas users our loyalty to eroids is on the same page also.
We might not practice what we preach cycle wise but the fact of helping and reaching out to the younger fellas is a main goal we share.
It is actually funny when you think about it and the history and my ( insanity ) lol it goes to show and prove that eroids is far more than just " some website" but its a community and a lifestyle- anyway lol good to see ya and chat and keep up your good work my friend.
Cheers for all you do bro.
lol I know, that hasnt changed a bit. But in other ways we definitely have. I try to explain why eroids is so important to me, espeically to my wife lol, and they just dont get it. I see how much work you putting in, been in the trenches dealing with all beach body use gear and workout 2 months out of the year crew i know that shit makes you wanna kill people haha. Its going having a vet in there helping.
Much respect for you bro. Im only 23 and I remember when I began seriously lifting at 18 I wanted to do get big as I possibly can. I didnt know much about steroids when i started going to the gym and all I wanted to do was inject myself with stupid doses and drugs. After the past few years researching about steroids and learning how my body reacts to different diets and workouts, I got up to 207 naturally at 16-17%ish bodyfat at my biggest, competed in 2 natural mens physique shows, and came so far that it blew my mind. Now that I actually know what to do I can do AAS responsibly. Thanks to boards like this one with so much info!
Hats off to you bro for being mature and respectful to all the guys that busted your balls. They at times may seem like a Dick but in all actually their only looking out for your best interest. Ive lurked on a few other boards and the way they advise young guys to do things is crazy. Eroids is the only board ive seen where the guys really and truly seem to genuinely care about the health and well-being of the younger generation. When I first joined I was like damn who do these guys think they are but once I stuck around and really watch how they were I was plowed away by how the seemed to really care. Keep learning brother there's a whole wealth of knowledge out there in all these archives and a shit ton of good dudes here that are willing to help. Its like one big family here and that's just one of the reasons I love it here so much. Good luck on your gains bro and stay natty as long as you can for you'll be glade that you did. Much respect homie.
Thank you for the kind and wise words man. And honestly I just wish people weren't so damn sensitive because if you look back on the post (yeah I was a moron like most) I didn't even argue a bit... if people just took it as constructive criticism rather than flame maybe they'd learn. But like I said keep on flaming boys and maybe you guys can atleast reach 1-2 more like me. Can't change them all but 1 out of 100 is atleast 1 more than none.
Hey bro, I too popped around here a few years ago when I was 21 but did not make an account (I just lurked). I soaked up all the information I could and did my first cycle a little bit ago at 24 (some would say this is still too young but I felt like I was ready with my knowledge and knew the consequences very well). Boy am I glad I waited lol. Good luck on your journey man, whether that be enhanced or not!
Awesome to see someone with a similar path! Although I'm much more educated now I'm gonna continue to ride it out with Game again and see where I can continue to get before I consider my other options again! Keep on though brother!
I used try with the young ones, id write long long posts telling them all the reasons not to run gear. 1 listened, most didn't, I wonder how many others I convinced. At best 1/10.
Kudos and thanks for being one of those who shape and influence this site in a positive way.
Thanks brotha, so many hard headed people who come on here, its refreshing when someone, especially a teenager actually realizes were not trying to be dicks, were actually trying to help.
Aye man like I have said to you countless times regardless of how many you tried with you tried. And I can honestly say thank you for taking the time to help me when you could've just flamed me! Hopefully in the next few months we can both get jacked as hell considering we've both been lazy lol.
Even if it's 1 out of 50... it's still great and more than most if not all can say. It goes without saying but we're lucky to have you here. No homo
Lul I just fully read the actual thread I made and Jesus Christ thank you all for the flame I did need it xD but like I've said many times thank you everyone and I'll keep posting some updates as me and Game kick off this next leg of me busting this bullshit plateau I've been sitting at (plus I've been a lazy bastard recently too).
Thanks gentleman I appreciate it. I'm actually gonna post up a log here maybe not fully in depth but segmented updates of how my new program goes with IronGame here just to keep everyone updated on how it's going and maybe people can use it as reference for some of the other young guys that come here to show them that yeah it takes work but it's doable and it's worth it! Again I appreciate all the advice everyone has given me here now and way back then!
The augmentation in maturity in 4 years is astounding.
Irongame is just 1 of the many here that are a huge part of my journey but definitely a shout to him for helping you also.
Im really glad you didn't take any gear yet you will be extremely happy for waiting as long as possible.
+1
Goodluck and good gains brother
+1 awolfe for not being a dick.At 185,205 is just around the corner.Keep working!
205 at 10% would be a great accomplishment for a natty with average genetics. Thats a big dude. I think it can be done,
I agree especially his age.Keep mentoring and he'll be the exception not the rule. You give a lot of good advice!Keep it up!+ 1 brother
Way to be mature and take the advice. Irongame is an awesome dude who really goes out of his way to help people.
