I'm using 500mg of sust a week with 50 mg proviron a day I was waiting until July to start cycle but I started it early the circumstances that were holding me back were corrected (slight shoulder injury)

Right now for the past two days my tricep has been twitching like crazy I mean I violent twitching I can see it it shakes my arm. I'm drinking 1.5 gallons of water a day I supplement with potassium on top of the potassium I get from food sources I make sure I don't go over via tracking on my fitness pal.

My question is could the gear be causing the twitching of is this something normal that will subside because it's quite annoying to be honest it stops when I'm lifting then comes back shortly after workouts

Thanks guys in advance

So back in March I hurt my shoulder it was messed up for over 4 weeks I had a regular examination and the doctor told me it was a minor injury stay off of it for awhile let it heal, this is what I did. Then 2 months later I posted another forum about twitching in that arm same side the injury occurred. The pain came back I went in and this time the doctor did a FULL examination and turns out I have a partially torn rotator cuff left side... has anyone on here experienced this kind of injury? How long were you out if so? Doc is telling me after surgery the recovery could take 3 months???? I know as of right now I can barely lift anything with it, I have been hitting my legs hard ad hell cause I have to workout it's like an addiction. I guess what I'm basically asking is if anyone went through this and how long was their recovery time I know it varies person to person but I'm just curious. Thanks guys

Sounds like an electrolyte issue bro. It's not just about potassium but also magnesium and sodium. A few years back my cramping was so bad I couldn't even move around while lying in bed. If I shifted from one side to the other my body would start cramping hard. Told my trainer about it and he said with the amount of water I drink, I prolly flushed the sodium out of my body and I should put a tablespoon of regular salt in a glass of water and drink it. I did. 10 min later, all cramping (twitching) gone. Try salt. If it's not that than try magnesium. One of those should make it right.

Dude I didn't even think about the water flushing the sodium out of my system. Right now I'm cutting and I cut Alot of sodium and carbs out of my diet.. thanks bro I'll up the sodium see if it helps and try some magnesium.

Lol so you didn't read my comment of a few days ago below.

robxl12321's picture

Yeah I did but you didn't mention the excess water flushing it out like he did I didn't even think of it till he mentioned it

Be careful fucking with sodium. It can back fire and blow up in your face as far as cutting goes your body will fight back and retain on you. Alot of guys for example fuck with sodium during contest prep and 9 times out of 10 come im looking worse.

robxl12321's picture

Thanks brother I'll monitor it closely with my tracker. My pre workout has zma in it so I don't think it's magnesium but I'll take a separate support as well

I had twitching pop up every where last year. Was convinced I had Parkinson's, ms, Lou gerrigs, etc. It fucked with my head while laying in bed and twitching every where. Ha.

No idea what was causing it. Took vitamins, etc. I wasn't on gear either. I believe stress can actually cause it too...

ironcarpenter52's picture

It happens man. No shit. Fucking nerves. Glad some one else gets a twitch after a good pin and workout. Ha.

robxl12321's picture

No but seriously I was just asking for remedies that's all its irritating me it's all I'm paying attention to all day. Lol

This is serious, you are going to want to immediately amputate that arm. It may already be too late and it has spread. I am sorry bro...

zeb0312's picture

I have restless leg syndrome.

Shit drives me crazy at night.

I hate leg day anyway.

Pale's picture

Cut it off. You don't want to live like that bro...

zeb0312's picture

I'm going to let Tommy do it.......

robxl12321's picture

Really? I was thinking about loading masteron tren primo and test all in one pin and injecting in the spot it's twitching since those all seem to be miracle drugs.... ;)

That's funny

I have heard from top guys that it can be the muscle fibers and they said they also get cramps real bad when the muscles start to get bigger.

Just what I have been told bro.

I know what you're talking about and I've had this happen to me a couple times before while off of gear so I really don't think the gear itself has anything to do with it. The usual culprits are usually dehydration or lack of certain vitamins/minerals (but it sounds like you're on top of those), lactic acid build up from working out, too much caffeine, nicotine and a couple others I don't remember. If none of the above fit then I'm not sure what to tell you.

For me, none of the what I listed except lactic acid build up made sense so basically it was annoying as hell but the couple/few times it's happened to me it just went away on its own after a few days. Annoying as shit though lol

robxl12321's picture

No nicotine and I use Mr hyde preworkout so yeah Alot of caffeine lol

MAXIMUS666's picture

oh shit...so your muscles are basically on crack! lol Yeah I'm betting between the caffeine and the lactic acid you've probably got your culprits. Doesn't make it any less annoying though does it? First time it happened to me I thought it was cool looking and then that wore off real f'ing fast. Would even do it at night when trying to sleep and all you can focus on is the damn twitching.

It's been a while but if I remember, stretching that particular muscle helped a bit. Worth a shot

Is it the same side as the shoulder injury? Are you pinning your triceps? What's your sodium levels like? How far into your cycle are you? This could be a few things fella. Need a bit more info.

robxl12321's picture

Same side as shoulder injury I do not pin triceps the pip I get os horrendous I avoid it at all costs this is the end of the first week. Yesterday's sodium was 2250 which is high I guess but the sodium I stay in range with the app give or take a 100 or so.

So did you suddenly increase water consumption when you started your cycle? I am willing to bet your blood sodium levels are a bit low for consuming 1.5 gallons of water per day. Try and up your sodium by adding table salt or better yet pink Himalayan salt to your food. And as above cut back on the stims. You shouldn't need them on cycle. Hope that helps.

Mitch77's picture

I'm not a doctor but it sounds like pinched nerve. I had the same problem before.

tpr494's picture

I had exact same thing start up in my tricep and as per Mitch ... It turned into a pinched nerve in my neck. It will let you know before long.

Pale's picture

You should have probably amputated, who knows what future problems you will have now bro..

robxl12321's picture

Would it be painful if it was pinched? Cause there's no pain?
