Lower leg tingling/shocks?! Nerve damage!?
ad
Im just after some advice guys ive been getting these strange shocks in my lower left leg every few hours for the last fortnight or so! Every so often when i sit or stand or move my leg/hips i got shocks straight down my leg! I only ever inject in the thighs.. I dont recall ever hitting a nerve and am worried it may be the aromasin or the gear im running or just a bad injection?! Is this normal or did i fuck up!?

back of the leg? or front? It sounds like you are pinching a nerve especially since you are saying that it happens when you sit or stand.. muscle growth and can impinge on your nerves especially since growth is much faster than normal.. Sounds like a pinched nerve.. get it checked out if it continues for any length of time as you can do permanent damage if you allow it to continue ...
AnonYeh its definatly something pinching or affecting the nerve.. Its in the front left leg about mid way below the knee to my toes.. Ive got a big vein thats popped outta nowhere i think that may be the culprit.. Like when i stand or flex the vein pushes on the nerve.. Its slowly going away tho so hopefully it'll sort itself out
it should work itself out.. but don't let it go for months and months.. that can damage the nerve. my arms fall asleep and I get nerve pain quite a bit when I m on cycle but it always dissipates once I m off ...
AnonHmm my hands go to sleep whenever i lay back and raise my hands to use a phone or laptop or whatever..
some of that is pressure on the brachial artery..
Buddy it's definitely worth going to see the doc about and tell him EVERYTHING! Thats definitely something to do with nerves!! You may not have hit a nerve. Just lifting really hard can damage your nerves. Numbness or tingeling is not good.
AnonYeh it seems to be getting better.. Ive noticed its espescially tingly right near the vein the eq has really got my veins popping! I think theyve just popped so big theyre putting pressure on the nerve..
I get the same thing in my foot, I believe it's nerve damage. Do you have diabetes?
AnonOk so ive did a little research lol.. The feelings were pretty much all of a sudden type nervey feelings.. This wasnt a gradual thing man i domt think its a diabetes thing altho if it doesnt get better that will be one of the first things i test for! I should prob get tested anyways considering my father has it..
AnonPls answer bro
in diabetics leg pain could be due to poor circulation, believe thats what he was refering to
Yikes! I have horrible circulation in my hands and feet and there are some diabetics in my family. Hope I don't have it or get it
AnonMaybe its time u got tested champ?! Free insulin yippee ;p
AnonFunny u should say that.. My father just got diagnosed with type 2! Why is that relevant tho?
Diabetes causes nerve damage, usually the feet and legs are the first place it happens. Some people actually have to have pieces of their foot cut off. I have borderline blood sugar levels, sometimes I feel that electric shock feeling and sometimes in my foot in certain spots I get this weird pain, from what I was told it possible nerve damage
AnonOk cheers bro the tingling seems to be happening less frequently and less intense today hopefully this is the last of it..
Sounds like you may have nicked a nerve bro.....
AnonIm worried it may also be a blood clot!?
Do you have any back pain? Sciatic maybe?
AnonNuh bro my backs fine no pain at all there! Ive never experienced this before.
I've had back pain with sciatic issues and no back pain with only leg pain. Usually it runs down the back of your leg and gives me a creepy crawly type sensation. Def sounds like a nerve issue though if it just started suddenly.
check out chirogeek.com
there are some good maps of typical sciatic nerve pain paths. I have no clue if that's your issue but at least you can rule it out!
AnonThanks i appreciate your help
