I’m 30, 6’ tall, 220 pounds at around 14% and I’ve been on TRT (150mg/wk ED injections) for about 7 years and haven’t done a cycle in 8 years or so. I got labs done 14 weeks into my 16 week blast of 300mg test cyp a week and I’m puzzled… here are some numbers during TRT compared to my blast:

TRT -
Total Testosterone - 930ng/dl - 240-980ng/dl
Free Testosterone (dialysis) - 338pg/ml - 35-155pg/ml
E2 ultra sensitive - 46pg/ml - 12-50pg/ml
SHBG - 8nmol - range 14-55

300mg blast (same ranges as above) -
Total testosterone - 965ng/dl
Free testosterone - 386.9pg/ml
E2 ultra sensitive - 115pg/ml
SHBG - 3.8nmol

Both labs taken 24 hours after injection.

After a hiatus of not working out for a few years I was able to go from 193-220 on this blast (a lot of muscle memory returning) with maybe gaining 2% bodyfat but mostly only noticed in my stomach while I got leaner everywhere else…

My question is, why is my total test and free test similar on 300mg as it is during my 150mg TRT dose? Is my body literally converting all that excess test straight into estrogen? I’ve made great gains but can’t imagine my levels being so similar to my trt levels this entire time during my blast. I never added arimidex (have on hand though) as I had no sides whatsoever other than minor bloat in my stomach during this blast. No puffy nipples, no sexual dysfunction, no major acne etc.

I just took .25mg arimidex and will take another .25mg in 3.5 days before I get labs redone in 10 days to see if that allows for more test to be active. I expected my TT to be around at least 1500 on 300mg a week.
