can any one help me build my karma?

Look at peoples picks. That sums it up for me and yes there are pics of guys with high karma that don't look the part.

Not their fault just the way the site works. Some people are good at working the karma system, others deserve it, others are just popular on the board.

There are a few who really qualify for my time and because I consider them on a higher level I follow there posts and what they say to learn.

Bet there are a ton of people on here with sub 10 karma with more experience than I have. Just be honest with what you know and try and help out where you can and you will pick up karma. It doesn't necessarily mean you know more. Pretty safe to say the fellas with +100 know what their talking about though.

Patience and a shitload of reading are the key to finding out who's who around here. I spent months reading threads before I even introduced myself here. And members with seemingly God-like karma (for the most part) can be trusted. In most cases we've been here from the beginning and helped build eroids credibility. And we've done what we can to curtail karma whores and buddy bumping but it still happens. Nature of the beast when eroids made the (IMO unpleasant) evolution to "Face-roids" but is still the best site around (if you circumvent the bullshit)

in the begining when the forums and karma first emerged on this site it was much easier to get it, there wasnt many that was helping and the info wasnt as good as it is now, there was a few of us that LIVED in certain sections dialing in everybody. back then everyone could give karma, and there was times when the board would be making changes and people would vote people up for the battles fought by keyboard for the betterment of the site. Many of you probably dont know but over a year ago this site didnt have forums just a review section that was off the hook, myself and BFG came up with almost all the forums ideas, SI threads, and launched the beginning of the NEW eroids, and karma was flying around. But with this came all the guys that tried to get over on people and vote their karma up for each other, and MANY other bullshit karma problems evolved and BFG got tired of it and locked it down so now its much harder to get. As well there is many members on here that contribute and the guys that can vote have heard the same things over and over and well, unless its something good you dont get voted up much. The bar has been raised, if you want to get karma today you had better spend some time researching and come up with some good info, and give back to the forums everyday.

BUT..I see people parroting info that are on their first cycle, or have never even done a cycle yet getting loads of karma. When in fact they can't tell you why you do this or that. Because in reality they have no experience with most of the stuff they are talking about. They have never got to feel what its really like to be shut down so hard it makes you physically ill.Or why certain people may get a side effect and most others don't. Everyone is different, besides the SOP on PCT, ect, There is no one size fits all. Which might lead a newb to think this person really knows their stuff because of a high karma ranking. Most of the guys with real high K really deserve those hard earned numbers..Others not so much. For those that are truly helping out good job brothers. I would +K you if I could, But that K thing lol. And parrots, Just be careful what info you give out, I want to see everyone have the best experience ever on their first run. Its a very special time, kinda like getting laid for the first time. =)

You make a very good point but lately the newbies are asking some really stupid questions (like running tren on their second cycle). You know the old saying 1 bad apple spoils the bunch. But for the most part if you have intelligent input it is respected.

Mate you are right to a point. In the earlier days people were giving karma points for just about anything. People have been given points for saying lol and no homo. This has been rectified and it's much harder now a days to get karma. The system isn't perfect but then show me one that is. Mate it's very easy to work out who knows anything worthwhile and who doesn't. In the past there was alot of people who were just regurgitating info that they had read but had no experience in. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to work out who they are mate. On the same token there are some very knowledgeable members here. But yes at the end of the day karma doesn't really mean that the person knows his shit but there are a few guy's here who really do deserve the huge karma points they have. On another track if just beacuse a person with higher karma won't listen to someone just cause they have less karma points than themselves well that really speaks volumes to me. In other words they are a tosser. I feel that everyone can contribute but don't bullshit about what you do know and what you don't just to chase the karma points. And believe me there are a fair few points chasers out there.

High karma doesnt always mean smarter but really negative karma is a definite indicator

To a degree you are right, to a degree you are not.. I can say i have taken plenty of advice from people with low are even negative karma. If someone has good info they have good info, but i never just take someones word on it, i ALWAYS research it myself after hearing something.... i will say you can great karma fast by making yourself known and helping others... IMHO if you have low karma its cause your not trying and your just on here for gear, which is fine but karma does come to those who deserve it. post something with knowledge and ill be the FIRST to hand you some points time and time again.....

You get points for helping people out with good info. If you have low Karma and you have the knowledge then share it and help some people out. I think people that have info and not willing to share are stingy bastards.

I agree 100%. In fact when i joined, i stayed quiet for a good month just to do some reading and get a feel for the board, then BOOM. I dropped my jewels, lol. But seriously, you are absolutely right. Low karma means nothing as far as knowledge. We all start at 1. But high karma does indicate some knowledge imo
